Mind games taken way too far; explore the disturbing genre of psychological thrillers that make us question our perception of sanity and reality.
The Exorcist
The Exorcist is the greatest film of all time. That’s just my unwavering personal opinion. You may not share it. That’s okay. Nobody’s perfect. If everyone could enjoy the perfect casting, superior direction, suspenseful writing, and chilling cinematography, we would never try anything new. Just look at how many times others have tried (and failed) to duplicate The Exorcist over time! I won’t even soil this review by mentioning the garbage Blumhouse put out. (But can you “believe” they want to make two sequels to that pile of cow dung? Wish I had that kind of money to burn!)

The Babysitter Who Came at Midnight: True or Not?
I was eleven the night I first met her. Or thought I did. My mom had a shift at the hospital, overnight and Dad was still in that unpredictable stage of his grief where he’d disappear for “a drive” and not come back until dawn. So I was alone, officially, even though Mom swore someone would “drop in to check” around midnight. I didn’t know then that what came to the house that night wasn’t someone. It wasn’t... normal.

Things I Didn’t Say at the Funeral
Things I Didn’t Say at the Funeral By [Hubaib Ullah] I stood three feet from the casket, my hands clenched so tightly in front of me they left crescent moons in my palms. The pastor was talking, something about grace and eternity and peace, but it all sounded like a foreign language. I wasn’t hearing the words, just the silence between them. The thick, suffocating silence of things unsaid.

My Brother's Imaginary Friend Never Went Away
My Brother’s Imaginary Friend Never Went Away By ZIA ULLAH KHAN We used to laugh about it. Back when we were little and life was still tinted in soft yellows and safe routines, my brother Charlie had an imaginary friend named Benji. Not Benny, not Ben. Benji. A name too cartoonish to take seriously.

The Baby Monitor That Heard My Dead Sister's Voice
I was never the kind to believe in ghosts. Growing up, my sister Emily was the one who stayed up reading horror novels under the covers, watching ghost hunting shows with wide eyes, and insisting the attic door sometimes opened on its own. I was the older, grounded one. Practical. Skeptical. The kind who turned off the lights and said, "There’s no such thing," while she begged to keep the hallway light on.

This file was flagged for deletion twice. The audio was corrupted. The memory cards were cracked. The operative who submitted the final pages requested immediate reassignment to an Arctic post… and then vanished mid-flight.
