A Sense Of Aligning Nothing
Corrand pulls up right about a block away. I motion to her to start moving forward and she then follows. As we are heading to the car I notice a tiny bit of extra light being shined from the car, there it is then there it's not. As I approach I noticed that they are the hazards. Corrand being the hair away from six feet, do not worry I will explain later, that he is has the radio blaring and I am sure he will not hear me but I try anyways. "Corrand why are the hazards on?" The song is thunderstruck by AC/DC. He is obviously jamming out using his hands and taping the steering wheel. As I get close I realize that he actually singing the song. I stand patiently with her right behind be and wait for the song to end. As it approaches the end I ask his again. "Corrand why are you hazards on?" He replies with "can't turn them off." I walk around to the front again and then back to him "you can not turn off the lights?" He looks at me "yes." "Hmmm ok let me take a look." I poke my head into the car and notice that the hazard button is filled with cement. "Uhhh did you do that?" Corrand is looking for his cell phone charger. "Hmm? No, I am not the one who did that." Ok well that explains why the lights are flashing. I mention to get back into the car and try to figure out which direction to go. I am so focused on figuring out the path exactly that the vehicle starts moving and I do not even notice. So, I have not been able to talk about my appearance or really any of ours. So first is Corrand. As I mentioned before he claims to be a hair away from 6 feet. but he is actually 5'10". So I usually reply with oh so you are hoping for a cow-lick. he usually just stares at me on edge and I give a little chuckle. I am actually 6'1". Yea sure I could make a joke about him being 3 inches short of a real mans height but what's the point? Well these simply is not one. Ok then her, yes I am hiding away from you our two names for now you only know Corrands but not mine or hers, she is 5'7". I basic height with no real reason for wanting more. She was a volley ball player. Yes, I know right. Lets just say her vertical out played a lot of people on her team. She literally could and did spike the ball. Me, I am not the athletic type. Sure I played sports and being humble I can say I was bad at them but really was not my thing. I preferred reading and thinking. I have a philosophy in my head that often shakes people to the core as they listen and actually think about it. I simply tell them that 'the world was not created on ethos or pathos. If you look back on life you will see that the words was created and worked through multiple chains of life through Logos, simply meaning logic. Why? Because without logic you really would not have anything. Nothing.. zip.. zero.. nana.

Gum Shoe Blues
Gum Shoe Blues I'd been working at this thrift store for about a week before I stumbled across the box. I say working, but it's more like volunteering. I'll save you the gory details, but needless to say that I screwed up after a night of drinking and ran into a bus stop with my car. Thankfully it was three am. There was no one in it, and the judge decided not to ruin my life over a mistake. He gave me community service and told me that it better never happen again. This was ideal since, as a college student, I don't have a lot of money. I also couldn't afford to get kicked out of college for going to jail either. So, with thirty-six weeks of community service to serve, I sat about working for my local thrift store, Charlies Second Chances.

Playing with dolls
I like to think that I’m your average 26-year-old male, I like the ladies, video games, sports and so on. I’m just a little different. I like to play with dolls. You know what I mean, don’t kid yourself. I like to make them date, go out, have a normal life just like us. Make them into real people, if you know what I mean. Pose them the way I want, make them do whatever I want. We all have our own god complex; this is the way I handle mine. Now don’t misunderstand what I’m saying, I’m not crazy or a homo or anything like that. It’s just that I have my own way of dealing with life and its downfalls. Not that I promote my lifestyle or anything of that nature, but it just seems to have always worked for me.

The Moonlight Sector
“Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say.” A man says coming into view. He is wearing a black suit. The background appears to be space, with a door in the distance. “Tonight,” he says as he begins to walk toward the door. “We’ll see a story from Christine Porter, an astronaut and scientist, on a mission to Mars to collect resources and materials that may be useful for human advancement. We find out what happens when she collects the wrong resource and someone or something comes back to find it. Tonight… we enter… The Moonlight Sector.” He walks into the door, before everything goes white.

The Expendibles
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. Nobody can see you die in the vacuum of space either. It's one of the benefits of being at the NASA space station, when a crew is lost to the infernal pit of space, you can just forget them.

SL1438
No one can hear a scream for the vacuum of space so they say. They would be right, whoever they may be actually; but I wonder, are they aware that their truth is both my biggest blessing while simultaneously my greatest curse. The proof will be oh so apparent shortly. For now; hang tight let me bring them up to speed so to speak.

Whispers From the Stars. Runner-Up in New Worlds Challenge.
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. But no one mentioned anything about the whispers. When we first sighted Venta 614, we thought we had discovered paradise. Our Gaia Probe had sent back signals of optimum habitability. A planet, not only similar to the one our ancestors had originally called home, but one flourishing with more nutrients and resources than we could have imagined. It was like a dream, though dreams often reshape themselves into something else entirely.

The Rim
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. When you came to me, John, I heard your screams. Thick plumes of vapor condensing against a clear visor like frost. Screams that years ago thrashed your voice, now but an echo in your mind. Your eyes wild, scream loudest of all; thick with anger, betrayal, and despair. Sanity long since seeped from your mind like viscous sap. Your shouts placated only by the humdrum of liquid state hydrogen and oxygen injecting into kerosene. The hiss and whine of engines and gears numbing your senses. In this den of snakes you are held captive by the very mechanisms designed to support you.

Deserted
TW: Abuse, Suicidal Ideation. The road split the desert right down the middle and Renee thought about her life. There was a distinctive ‘Before’ and ‘After,’ and she was right at the precipice of it. Billions and billions of stars mocked her, clear white pinpricks in a blackout curtain. The possibilities were endless, and Renee was filled with equal parts excitement and trepidation.

POP
Isabelle watched her fingers as she waved them through the dust molecules floating in the everlasting light of day. Each left broad waves in its wake as they cut through the sunlight. Coming together, separating. Four. Eight. Sixteen. So many fingers. She looked to her right to see who the additional unexpected fingers belonged to. Someone come to help, perhaps. But there was no one there.

The Effects of a Broken Astronaut.
“Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say.” The words came from the scratchy child's voice on the tape, floating through the greenhouse where Hearl kept his suspects. The beings of another kind in his own eyes, when they resembled nothing more than humans.
