Carrie (2002) - A Movie Review
If I focus really hard I can move things. Based on the book by Stephen King, Carrie was a 2002 adaptation released to television. Carrie White, an outcast, is asked to senior prom. Finding out that she has telekinesis powers, Margaret, Carrie’s over-religious mother believes her daughter going to prom is a sin. Once Carrie arrives at the prom, it is a dark evening to remember.

10 Great Stephen King Adaptations
Stephen King was born on the 21st of September, 1947 in Portland, Maine in the U.S.A. Growing up in the 50s and 60s, King has often showcased his love for Bob Dylan not only through his incredible comments on songs such as "Shelter from the Storm" but also through references in his books (such as the title to his book "From a Buick 8" is a play on the title of the Bob Dylan song "From a Buick 6").

Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3
I sat down on a Tuesday evening, apartment to myself, and a plate full of grilled cheese sandwiches. All that was missing was a good horror movie to watch. Since I was alone, the selection of the movie was 100% up to myself. My fiancee isn't necessarily a fan of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series. The gore is too over the top, and I'm sure the cannibalism doesn't help. So I slipped the DVD copy of Leatherface that had been gathering metaphorical dust on my shelf and popped it in.

"Nightbooks" REVIEW
If you participated in the Summer Fiction Series, you should be able to empathise with the plight of Alex: having been kidnapped by a witch, Alex will only be allowed to live as long as he tells the witch a scary story every night. It's Goosebumps meets One Thousand and One Nights. Or it's a slightly more intense version of the SFS without any cash prizes.

Candyman (2021) Review
I saw this movie two weeks ago and I've barely stopped thinking about it since so I thought I should put my thoughts down. I was incredibly excited about this movie, and I was worried that as this is its fourth scheduled release date it would end up going straight to home release and I wouldn't get the Candyman cinema experience I craved. I was too young when the original came out, although I don't think two year old me would have appreciated it anyway, so this was my first chance. It wasn't until a few days before I was booked to see it that I began to worry I was in fact too excited and the film wouldn't hit my high expectations.

‘Malignant’ Movie Review
In the latest film from horror veteran James Wan, Malignant follows a woman named Madison (Annabelle Wallis) who develops a sort of psychic connection with a mysterious killer, forcing her to watch him slaughter people telepathically. It turns out that these bizarre, real-time visions could be linked to something from Madison’s past, and she and her adoptive sister, Sydney (Maddie Hasson), are tasked with uncovering these dark secrets in order to prevent more grisly murders from happening.

Movie Review: 'Death Drop Gorgeous'
Death Drop Gorgeous is a bizarre and often gross homage to the trash cinema of the legendary John Waters. The movie tells the story of a group of drag performers who become the target of a serial murderer in their community. A series of ever more grisly murders unfold and a pair of thoroughly nonplussed cops investigate the crime while also trying to keep the series of murders quiet so as not to upset the business interest of a local club owner who is missing three fingers.
