Ghost Story” (2017): the infinite structure of life
The American director Daniel Lowery invites us to question ourselves and open our minds about an infinite experiential journey through his film A Ghost Story , which had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in 2017. This poetic film tells the story of a recently deceased man (Casey Affleck) who returns home as a ghost to comfort and be with his wife (Rooney Mara). After discovering that in his "new spectral state" he does not belong to any exact time or to a predetermined place, the ghost remains stuck in that physical space in which he lived, where he witnesses the different stages and people that take place throughout the weather. It is there that he faces the questions of life, thememories and history, testing the immensity of existence.

Aftermath: Movie Review
There is nothing better than sitting at home, cracking open a white claw, and turning on the ear-scratching sound of a horror movie. Those first few loud, usually sharp, notes that make you want to crawl into your skin and turn it off. Tonight's feature is "Aftermath," produced in 2021 and directed by Peter Winther. Nothing new, but an addition to my collection of horror movie picks on Netflix.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Men' (2022)
You know, there was a lot to like about this movie but I don't think it quite pulled off what it was going for. Honestly, I'm not sure why it tried to be so psychedelic. It had a solid premise, a solid antagonist, well-developed characters, and immersive atmosphere. But you know A24 can't just leave it at that. There needs to be symbolism and hidden meaning and... well fuck. I just don't think it was necessary. It's like my review of Beyond The Black Rainbow (2010), sure, even donkey shows are art in some way shape or form. But is there really any value to being this cryptic when what you have already works?

TRUTH OR DARE (2018) Sucks. Let's Fix It.
I can point to the exact moment I gave up on Truth or Dare (2018). That's not to say that I stopped watching the movie at this point. I just stopped caring. There was one scene that was so profoundly stupid that it entirely undermined the entire horror movie, and at that point I just could not remain invested no matter what came next.

A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) - A Movie Review
Better be careful about falling asleep tonight. You know Krueger is murdering people. A Nightmare on Elm Street is a 2010 remake of the 1984 cult classic. A handful of teenagers are haunted in their sleep by a disfigured man. One by one, they are killed in violent ways by the man with scissors as hands.
