Untold Secrets inside The Pond
The Name is Lila Lays. I am 10 years old, and as far as I reamer, I was the only Child Born By My Parents. I don't know if something felt wrong with My Life, but It's like a part of me is Missing; I can't thank why For existence, just like The waters Falling from the sky, and I. just like a New star finding New Reasons why.

Intimacy
Maxine wouldn’t settle down. She started with a gruff little yap just before six o’clock, after Riley got home from the office but before he turned on the shower. She growled in short bursts while Ana frantically chopped carrots and onions to throw in the pressure cooker. After the Holloways rang the doorbell, she whined and howled and snapped with barely a breath through dinner, the kitchen table board games, and into the post-dinner wine selection.

Halloween Visit
"Come on, Dad, let's go!" Lily stomped a slipper-clad foot on the sidewalk as she looked back at her father. She was ready to go trick or treating, and it seemed that nothing but Josh could keep her from her sweet treats. He was sitting on the front steps of his childhood home, a well-loved cul-da-sac teaming with costumed children. The moon hung overhead, a ghostly sickle that presided over this Halloween night. The children laughed and screamed as they stalked by, the street a sea of superheroes, video game characters, colorful animals, and everything in between.

The Night of Dead Thursday
It was that time of year again, the third Thursday in October, otherwise known as Dead Thursday. All was quiet on this particular day, and particular night for that matter. Nobody was at work, or in school. Everyone stayed in the comfort of their own homes, and did not leave for any reason: not to socialize, run errands, or even get mail. The chances of dying in a car accident, or being murdered, on this day was nine times out of ten.

Gargoyle
I grew up in this building. I've explored every floor, heard every story, often repeatedly. It's the oldest building in this town and the one with the most statues on the roof. I've spent hours up there observing the night sky amongst the cables, satellites, and gargoyles. What a big town facade for our little hamlet; statues on the building like a miniature Gotham.

Goblin Bites: Scary Stories 4
There was once a man driving home on a quiet, rainy night. He'd had a long, hard day, and was utterly exhausted. It was all he could do to keep his eyes open and maintain his lane. Luckily there weren't many other cars around due to the lateness of the hour, otherwise his constant nodding off at the wheel could have had disasterous results. The rain fell more heavily as he came to a four-way stop. His usual route was blocked by a fallen tree, leaving him no choice but to take the scenic route through a network of back roads.
