Real Horror incident of my Life. Content Warning.
This incident took place before the partition of India, a time when, despite the turmoil, life continued its normal course. A strange and terrifying event, passed down to us from my grandfather, Muhammad Ahmed, occurred in 1946. This story has left an indelible fear on my mind. I now share it with you to convey the horror and mystery that my grandfather encountered.

There was only one rule: Don't open the door
Author: Dream Books Sanjeevi "Too much curiosity is like a fire; the person who stokes that fire too much ends up getting burnt." “Abarth was right: perhaps it is better a locked door can keep secrets, but it also keeps the danger away.” "It is a proverb to say that when the wind blows, people should stay at home. Fools seek the storm." “Even if you seek knowledge, do not wake; a serpent concealed in the grass.” "The eyes that seek justice must be willing to live in the shadows." “It might be a general law actually that any wrong step forward can lead a man straight into the abysm.”

Once Upon a Murder
There was only one rule: don’t open the door. That rule had stood for thirty years to the day. Which is how we found ourselves standing on the back porch of the local murder house, out of view of the families trick-or-treating along the street. The full moon provided just enough light to guide our path and the appropriate ambience for Halloween mischief, on the thirty-year anniversary of the murders.

The Whisper Beyond the Door
There was only one rule: don’t open the door. For weeks, it stood at the end of the dim hallway, weathered wood scarred by scratches, as if something—or someone—had tried to escape. Nathan was warned, explicitly. His grandmother’s words echoed: “No matter what you hear, no matter what you feel, never open it.” But curiosity, as always, was a wicked companion.

Exploring Agnostic Belief Systems in Horror: Echoes of Faith and Fear
Horror as a genre has long been a space where belief systems are tested against the unknown. In many tales, characters are confronted with supernatural forces, pushing them to rely on their cultural, religious, or personal beliefs to survive. But what happens when no single belief system triumphs over the darkness? Instead, every faith and legend seem to mirror one another, offering both no answer and all answers at once. This agnostic perspective on religion in horror provides a fascinating lens to explore the theme of uncertainty, where truth becomes a kaleidoscope of traditions and rituals.

Life's Door
There was only one rule: don’t open the door. He remembered everything as he stood at the threshold of the cabin, remembered Alex’s face. His pleas for his lover to help him, to not leave him behind, haunted him. He'd hesitated approaching the door of the cabin they’d bought just after their wedding, and as the flames danced against the night sky — the beastly howl, Alex’s screams…

Exorcism of Black Hollow Manor
Black Hollow Manor sits like a ghost - its walls eaten by ivy, stone front deteriorating - beyond the bounds of a forgotten hamlet steeped in mystery and sadness. The village whispers about this long-ago abandoned home in hushed tones, referring to it as a location where no living man dares set foot. It is said to be most definitely cursed, haunted by the tormented spirits of the Hawthorne family, which lived within its confines up until their inexplicable disappearance one horrific night a century ago.

Whispers from the Attic
Overview of the Attic Whispers On the end of a dead-end street, in the quiet and peaceful neighborhood of Maplewood, lay a Victorian house more than a century old. A terrible disaster had struck this home that brought so much joy and happiness. The disaster snatched it and turned it into the fable told by campfires, part of city folklore. This mansion has been abandoned for decades since the family disappeared under a spate of strange happenings. Even if only the most courageous of the curious were drawn to its humming streets, most of them would actually feel that its existence had quite a different effect. The first half of the book involves the character of Sarah, a young lady in her twenties, returning to Maplewood. Local mythology of weird incidents on that haunted home, which came to be known as the Hawthorne home, draws her into it. Despite warnings from neighbors about weird sounds and spooky shadows, she investigates the estate in pursuit of an answer to whether the stories that haunt her dreams are true.
