The Forest
At this point Sara knew she was lost. There was no escaping that fact anymore. It all came slamming down onto her like someone had just dropped a bucket of water on her head. She realized at this point that she may never see her boyfriend again or her parents, or even that funny guy Steve that lived across the street from her.

Dreamscape
The first time that I lucid dreamed I was 14. I "woke up" in the middle of a nightmare and shot a zombie in the head. It took me a little bit to realize what was happening but before the end of that first dream I was flying and shooting laser beams out of my eyes. When i actually woke up my heart was still racing from how real everything had been and felt. I went to school that day and told all my friends and one informed me about lucid dreaming. The way he talked about how difficult it was it seemed like I was a natural. That night when I went to bed I immediately started shifting my dream scape around me. Before I knew it I had built a full 1:1 replica of my favorite anime around myself. I know I'm a nerd trust me. Every night when I would go to sleep I would build whole worlds around myself for me to play in. It even got to the point where I could populate the world with other people. Most of the time they were just amalgamations of all the people I knew. I even used my lucid dreaming to do world building for me and my friends to pay tabletop games. I ended up always playing DM but that was fine because everyone would compliment me on how unique and detailed my games were. I would just give them a sly smile and tap my temple leaving them wondering how I came up with it all.

Germaine Street - Chapter Four
Like their parents and older sister, Randolph, Connor and Shawn Rirsen had noticed the new neighbors. Unlike Kitty, Tobias and Lizzie, the triplets were 14 and had been especially observant of the fact that the new neighbors were mostly comprised of girls.

The Honeymoon
Twilight crept in slowly over the mountains, the valley below had already began to settle into darkness. Crickets chirped and the birds calls slowed and quieted. "Hey Cyn, we should set up camp soon." Chad spoke calmly. "yeah, you want to turn around and head back the the clearing we saw earlier?" Cynthia said as she halted to point backward. Chad turned and nodded with an approving smile. Together they turned back on the path with Cynthia leading the way back. twenty minutes passed when they finally arrived back at the clearing, Cynthia began unpacking the tent as Chad gathered some dry logs that were fallen just outside of camp.

Abduction
My last session with Dr. Brenda occurred on Friday. The weekend was long and hard as I waited for Monday to roll around and hoped that she could bring me more answers. I struggled to remember what happened after we were all herded into the... I will call it the hangar bay for lack of any better description. The opening leading out of the bay looked like that of a large hangar and there was these craft, larger than a helicopter, and more metallic than most aircraft, that sat around in two lines. It looked like the upper deck of an aircraft carrier only we were definitely indoors.

HOBO Kyle - chapter 2
Several miles from the strange and horrible events at the White’s homestead, in a truck stop diner, a large, red-faced man began to squirm in his seat. The faint reverberations of an animalistic howl tickled his ears and sent ripples of instinctive understanding cascading through his brain.

A Modest Meal
It is said that Scientology was started after a wager made by Isaac Asimov to L. Ron Hubbard that the latter could not start a religion. It is said that a similar wager led to the creation of the restaurant I ate at tonight. It is uncertain whether it was Musk and Batali or Zuckerberg and Marco Pierre White, and one could never tell, for the kitchen was most certainly closed to prying eyes, but it was the same sort of combination of derring-do and disregard that led to the existence of Swift’s.

Hooter
I have worked many night shift jobs driven down many roads at night and encountered many animals in the road, in my 38 years of driving; turtles, snakes, deer, cows, even horses being ridden at night. I have even totaled vehicles hitting them. Nothing I have encountered or hit in the road, had prepared me to even fathom what I saw this night. Driving into work on a long, winding 2-lane road as I regularly do around 9:30pm, I see something in the middle of the road ahead. At first, it's merely a dark lump in the distance, and I assume it's just a small animal that was previously hit and left there.
