The Secret Hidden Inside
It was pill time, he wasn’t even sure what he was taking anymore. The same shows, lunch, more shows, more pills, then on to a walk around the grounds for a while, then dinner and more shows. The same thing, every day. Every once in a while, a new face in the hallway to whom he could say, “Hey, I’m Steven!” That of course being the single most exciting moment of most of his days. Steven couldn’t even remember how long he had been there anymore. The nurses were very nice, talking to him daily, helping him hobble through the walkways around the grounds. They even explained why the fence around the grounds seemed to be so daunting, as some of the other guests of the facility were not as coherent as he, so they needed to be contained. Steven was content with life, he felt old and tired, his body ached and hurt at every motion. He could not remember much of life, but he knew he had worked hard for this easy life, so he decided now, after much internal debate, that he was going to enjoy it.

A Wizard Named Harry
My name is Harry and I’m a wizard. I know what you are thinking, you have heard this story before, but I am not that Harry. Do I seem like a bespeckled little shit who hangs out with a ginger and is too naive to know that I could hook up with carrot top’s girlfriend? Not Likely! I prefer a smooth aged bourbon over butter beer and a Cuban cigar over snot flavored chocolate frogs.

The Red Eyed Favor Part II
Katie Sharp squinted when another lifted truck with LED headlights gave her a free x-ray as it roared past. She tried to blink past the spots. It wasn’t the first time today she’d had her eyeballs flash-banged while inching along the highway taking her out of the Dallas traffic she’d been stuck in for hours

Lucy's Key
You can tell a lot about a person by their keys, arguably, everything you need to know. Some people have one car key, one house key, and absolutely zero exciting prospects in their lives. Others have countless keys, a couple reward cards, and maybe one ornate key chain in a pathetic attempt to convince themselves that they have a life outside their daily responsibilities. They’re frugal though, so at least there’s that. On the other side of the spectrum, you have those with no intension of facing adulthood and just pile on the decorative key chains that surround a lone key to god only knows what.

Welcome to Garrettland, Population ONE – Part 1 of 4
Within a year of the zombie virus outbreak in 2029, nationwide martial law had been implemented. The whole country went on lockdown. Cities were cordoned off to help maintain order. Strict curfews were implemented. Food distribution networks that operated with all the stellar efficiency that one normally associates with a top-heavy, bloated bureaucracy sprang up everywhere. The first year of the zombie virus outbreak had caused the deaths of nearly 100 million Americans.

Madness
The clouds gathered threateningly in the sky above. Michael felt a chill go down his spine, and the thunder rolled across the sky. As if God himself were running from one side of heaven to the other. He slowly made his way to the darkened house. A place he had called home for only a couple of weeks now.

The Storm
Lightning lit Jeremy’s room with a calming strobe effect. He had developed a love for storms over the years which was a stark contrast to his childhood. Thunder on the other hand chilled him to the bone. To him, it was the growl of some ancient beast just waiting outside his meal ticket to venture outdoors. He could still remember in vivid detail that growl inside his room as a small child. He used to believe it was something under his bed or in his closet, but after numerous attempts to point this out to his parents, he realized it was all in his childhood imagination.
