fiction
Horror fiction that delivers on its promise to scare, startle, frighten and unsettle. These stories are fake, but the shivers down your spine won't be.
Abandoned Streets
It had long ago grown dark as the number of people out and about gradually lessened until there was almost nobody left on the empty, abandoned streets. The bars were closing down. Signs of life subsided. Cassie shivered violently as she pulled her heavy coat tighter around her rail-thin body, the hood mostly obscuring her face. She would have to find a place to hide away from the world unseen soon, the nightly struggle. Fortunately, she knew just the place.

Hunting
After about an hour or so of meditating, my alarm goes off. It's time to get ready, I think to myself. Once the alarm is turned off, I check the weather on my phone. Seeing there was no chance of rain today I decide to wear a black short sleeve T-shirt with dark blue jeans and a pair of black chucks for the finishing touch. Moving to the full length mirror to see what I look like, noticing my hair is a bit flat due to no product. Adding a little mousse to give my hair a little bit of a wavy volume look made me think of my assistant Jill.

Dark of the Woods
I first met Thomas under the Lonely Bridge. We called it the Lonely because it no longer had any utility. It was a small wooden bridge that spanned a ravine on the western edge of town. The problem was it no longer led to anything but some dense growth that stood in front of an even denser forest. I’m not sure what used to lay beyond it but we’ll come back to that.

When will it end part 4
We made our way through the electric fences and gates, he definitely had this place locked down tight. I followed obediently watching his actions, mentally noting his course of action to take our prey. Preferably, I do not want to hurt any more people than needed. I wanted to save more lives to make up for the ones being lost. Once the security system was done I realised it actually lasted a mile, a mile of nothing but security gates and the buzz of electric. I hopped in the truck next to him and took in the interior, this guy knew how to clean I will give him that, it practically squeaks. "should we really be doing this during daylight?" I asked puzzled, "yes this one will be coming to us" he replied coolly. The truck was brought to life, surprisingly quiet and smooth on the roads. I concentrated my thoughts preparing myself for the possible outcomes of the next 24 hours.
