5 Horror Movies About Real Demons. Top Story - January 2019.
Demons are a favorite creature for the horror genre. Ancient and eternal, they come in an infinite variety of forms, and most of the time they don't even need an explanation. Their very existence is all the threat you need to drive the story and create the proper amount of fear.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'The Void' (2016)
Let me just start out by saying, there was a LOT about this movie that was testing my fucking patience. It really prayed on "Weaker Sex Syndrome" far too often, and for a hot second, I could swear they were doing "Gladiator Moments." There was scene after scene of what seemed like completely unrelated artsy bullshit. Thank god I was wrong about that because I really wanted to like this movie just from the premise.

'The Chalk Man': C.J. Tudor Review
I noticed this book as I was browsing WHSmiths at Birmingham Airport. I always like to take a gander at the books they have in their recommended, best selling, and half price sections. However, this book was harmoniously shoved with the magazines on the other side of the library section. That’s what caught my eye, the fact that it was propped in such an odd place. The front cover pulled me in further, telling my brain to reach out and grab it. Furthermore, Stephen King had read it. Stephen King. Anything recommended by him must be good, I thought. So, of course, I did pick it up, to the bemusement of my partner who was going to pay for it.

'New Orleans Vampires' by Marita Woywod Crandle - Book Review
We all know that New Orleans is a city filled with the supernatural. From The Originals on CW to Anne Rice’s novels to AHS: Coven on FX and all the books, movies, shows, museums, and stories in between, they sure showcase that. But if you're planning a trip to the Big Easy yourself, first grab a copy of New Orleans Vampires by Marita Woywod Crandle. Instead of the made-up, TV-perfect vampires we know and love, Crandle will take you into the world of real vampires in New Orleans. And while they may not always be as glamorous, or as beautiful, as our favorite vampires of TV and books, they are the real, truthful, traditional vampires of New Orleans—and it's best to know who to look out for on your nightly strolls through the French Quarter.

My Review of 'Bird Box'
I know what you're already thinking: How can a Netflix movie be good? Well, it happens every so often. Don't get me wrong, the majority of the Netflix exclusive movies aren't very stellar. The majority of the movies on the streaming service are usually quick straight to video quality movies. They have a ton of romantic comedies which aren't too bad. Then there are a whole slew of so-called serious movies that are either not bad or you quit watching halfway into it.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Dig Two Graves' (2014)
This movie is Oscar material as far as I'm fucking concerned. It also touches my hillbilly roots a little bit. So if you want an idea of the kinds of wife’s tales I grew up on, you can watch this movie and get a good feel for them.
