Beautiful Creatures
I watch a lot of shows such as Supernatural and Teen Wolf and my fascination in mythical creatures and the supernatural has grown over the years. Every culture and religion has an extent of belief in mythological creatures and supernatural beings. I’ve always been intrigued at this as it suggests many, many years ago these creatures may have actually existed. However, nowadays there are no new stories about mythical creatures or the supernatural. This is an exploration into the idea that slowly, over time, supernatural creatures merged with humans. We became one, and that’s why each person is different.

Old Horrors
Horror movies have long relied on the ordinary-gone-bad scenario to scare you. Childhood playthings create havoc in movies like Demonic Toys and the Chucky series. Household pets like Cujo go on rampages. Even houses themselves turn on people, crushing them in two with their gates and boiling them in showers like the one in This House Possessed. Movie makers know that audiences can identify with the story, and thus be more frightened if they own the object in question. "Hey, I have a doll like that," you might think. And your next thought is, "Uh oh."

Runnin Round Red Mountain
Darkness ... All I can see is darkness. It sets in like the sun and pulls away all the sound in the world with it. Even the rain that falls all around me does so in a way that escapes my range of hearing. The ground beneath my feet then starts giving way to even more of what is the darkness consuming the world around me. In the ever fading distance, I see the silhouette of what appears to be a young woman. She’s here … Why is she always here? Complete and total silence … Why can’t I ever hear the rain? I can see the young woman raising her head, raising her eyes to meet with mine. Before I have the opportunity to make eye contact with her, I feel my body begin to lose weight, as I start falling. Down into the empty void that is the darkness below me. For what seems like forever, until…

‘Pet Sematary’ Trailer #2 Review: Sometimes Dead Is Better
Welcome, Horror fans! The second trailer of Pet Sematary has just dropped and I’m really excited. I love horror movies. Obviously, Pet Sematary is one of the scariest movies of all-time. Personally, I can’t watch this movie alone and it just creeps me out (laughs).

The Ouija Board
Have you ever wondered if ghosts are real or what happens when you mess with the dead? I did and now I am paying for it in the worst way. One day I was bored and called a few friends to come over to my house. That was the night that changed my world forever. I had a Ouija board tucked away in my attic and it was screaming to me to be played with. I quickly went up to my attic and grabbed that little gem. For weeks I couldn’t stop thinking about it and when I was going to use it. When I bought my house, it was in the attic, and I was going to throw it away. Instead, I just left it there. I forgot about it for a while until I was putting away my Christmas stuff and it fell off the shelf, almost hitting me in the head. I have always wanted to use an Ouija board, so I picked a rainy Friday night when I had nothing else going on. My friends and I were sitting around my kitchen, eating pizza, and joking around. Then I decided to grab the board and place it in the middle of the table. There are no instructions, so I found a YouTube video on how to use an Ouija board, and off we went.
