'The Return of Swamp Thing'—Review of the Sequel Film
1989 was a big year in the history of DC films. It saw the release of Tim Burton's Batman movie starring Michael Keaton in the titular role. That film was a cultural phenomenon that pleased many Batman fans. But a month prior to that film's premiere, there was another DC film, one that was not as big as Batman 89 turned out to be. It was a sequel to 1982s Wes Craven-directed Swamp Thing film. Titled The Return of Swamp Thing, this Jim Wynorski-directed sequel is seldom brought up during discussions of DC movies, which is understandable. One could argue that it is in some ways better than the first film, but it still was not enough for it to make a huge splash.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Leprechaun' (1993)
And now for an old classic in fucking BAD movies. Look, literally everyone going into this movie should know it's a giant shit show. They didn't even attempt to make it sound like serious horror back when the were producing it. But it's been 26 years at the time of this review. There is zero reasons for anyone to not know the Leprechaun franchise is basically one long running joke. They were basically just trying to figure out how loony-toons they could get with the concept. Shit, by nowadays standards, with movies like Sharknado, this franchise didn't even go far enough.

After Dark
My head. I had a splitting headache as I woke up to thickly pebbled dirt stuck to the side of my face. I barely took a breath when I inhaled dust, coughing immediately. I took note of my body, feeling the breeze sweep over my back as I turned my head from side to side. Nothing broken, so far. I braced my hands against the dirt, lifting myself slowly to my knees. Everything else seemed intact. Nothing missing, nothing fractured.

‘Crawl’ Movie Review
In Crawl, we are introduced to Hayley (Kaya Scodelario), a talented competitive swimmer who always seems to come up short in meets. When a catastrophic hurricane approaches, she goes to find her dad (Barry Pepper), who has retreated to their old family home in a state of nostalgic depression, and hasn’t been responding to her calls. She finds him lying in the crawlspace, having been wounded. The cause of his injury is soon revealed to be a large alligator, and they realize that they are trapped in the crawlspace with it. With the storm intensifying, the water rising, an increasing number of gators, and some still yet unresolved tension between the two of them, Hayley and her father must fight to survive.

The Beast
(WARNING: Blood/Gore, Strong Language, and some sexual suggestiveness.) “Ready!... set!... HUT!!” The ball flew behind the center as I raced and crashed into the offensive line of the opposing team. Going for the quarterback. My eyes were trained on him as he tried to dodge and weave out of my direction of approach. I nailed him in the chest and he went tumbling down with the ball. I sacked him. I sacked the quarterback! The game was near its end and... we won! We won our homecoming game. The crowds cheered my name and the team lifted me up, hugging and laughing along as they tallied two more players to come over with a huge bucket of ice water and dump it over myself and the head coach's head for the big win of the year. It was a huge night for all of us. Including myself. I couldn’t stop smiling as the buzzer was ringing to end the game. Everyone was cheering and yelling from the ground to the bleachers.

Cows
I awoke on a farm. I laid on a wooden floor inside a barn, looking toward two big, open doors that revealed light and fluffy green grass being grazed upon by the cows roaming the field. A light breeze passed through my face and something felt different. The way the air moved over my head and my face. I sat up and ran my fingers over my head and much to my dismay, felt short, buzzed hair. Where is my hair... I trembled and cried into my hands. This must be a dream.

The White Abyss
One month later The morning sunlight pierced through the window shades and a beam of light hit Jacob in the face from his twin bed he was sound asleep on. It woke him. Stretching out his arms and legs, he began to make his way from laying down to sitting up in the side of the bed. Jerry was still sound asleep in the bed next to him. ‘Breakfast’ Jacob made his way down to the kitchen and began slowly preparing their morning meal. The cabin was eerie and quiet this morning. But that didn’t seem to bother Jacob in the slightest. His main concern was trying to wake up. Thinking that this Ice Doom was all a dream in his mind. But he kept to his sanity and wandered into the living room with a glass of orange juice in his hand.

"Well That Was a Mistake!"; A Bad Movie Review of 'Humanoids From the Deep' (1980, Barbara Peeters)
This film has convinced me that all films involving humanoid-fish people for some reason insist on having them partake in sex with non-fish people. It's true! Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954, Jack Arnold), The Shape of Water (2017, Guillermo Del Toro), this film, The Little Mermaid (1989, Ron Clements)! WHAT IS WITH THESE FILMS AND INTER-SPECIES FISH SEX?! Is this some kind of weird fetish I have missed out on?! (Not that I'd want to partake in such a bizarre fetish.)
