Third Bridge History There are some places, for some reason, that posses a mysterious trait. In Colorado, there are many places: The Stanley Hotel in Estes park is believed to be haunted in a variety a ways; and from personal life experience, I would agree. Stephen King got inspiration for his movie classic, The Shining at the Stanley hotel. Colorado's ghost towns, abandoned mines, and historic hotels report common occurrences of paranormal activity.

'The Witch' Director Returns to Drive Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson Crazy in 'The Lighthouse'
A lighthouse is a truly remarkable structure. It represents so many great things like the satisfaction of knowing you’ve survived the journey making it home safely. It holds back the darkness, giving travelers a beacon through whatever adversity they may be facing. And it's safe to say that during a storm, this glowing light is undoubtedly a sight for soar eyes. Some may even argue it's the epitome of hope and the enemy of despair. They may very well be mistaken. Because one always thinks about those looking at the lighthouse and very little about the brave, unfortunate souls that must man the spotlight. For anyone that ever wondered if someone could lose all their marbles tending to the needs of a lighthouse, then the new trailer from director Robert Eggers' latest film will provide some terrifying answers some may find hard to believe.

Blumhouse Invites Audiences to Get in on 'The Hunt' This Fall
If there is one thing moviegoers can count on, it is that there is one name that is synonymous with developing hit horror films. Whenever these guys have something slated for release, it's a good idea to not miss out. Blumhouse has put out some of the genre's most popular titles and some very profitable franchises. One example is the Purge property which has spawned four movies and a TV show about to air its second season. And it's not just popcorn flicks with these talented folks either. The low-budgeted horror outfit has garnered some Oscar gold from Jordan Peele’s 2017 mega-hit Get Out, both of which involve the wealthy and the less fortunate going head to head in a truly chaotic fashion. These are some truly sick and twisted tales of the elite exploiting those below the poverty line. A concept which feels like it's becoming less a fantasy and more of a reality every day. Now the next chapter in the saga of the rich and powerful turning out to be heinous monsters is apparently on its way as the prolific studio has released its trailer for The Hunt.

Haunted Vacation at Solomons Island
I love anything paranormal as well as haunted sites... from a distance. It is totally different when you are the one involved in the haunting. I grew up seeing spirits and over the years I have become comfortable with the thought that I will always have spirits around me. The funny thing is, that I have become so comfortable with being surrounded that sometimes I forget to be open to the energies around me.

Why the 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' TV Series Needs James Wan!
It was only a matter of time before the news would arise that a TV version of I Know What You Did Last Summer was in the works. I mean it had to happen—everything is getting a TV show or remake nowadays. And the fact that Scream has had a successful run on the small screen means it's only natural that the other popular 90’s stab flick would get one as well. These two films were very similar when they both released during the slasher revival. Scream came out in 1996 to an unprecedented amount of fanfare and acclaim. A year later, I Know What You Did Last Summer had a similar reception. Both spawned sequels with Scream going on to secure four titles total with big production budgets, top-level performers, and theatrical releases. Sadly, I Know What You Did Last Summer did not survive past the second iteration unless you count the straight to video release, which you really shouldn't. But alas, the powers that be have deemed that the Jennifer Love Hewitt starrer is ready to be resurrected into a new series for those that hold an Amazon Prime Membership. It's easy to complain and whine over this news, but when you find out who’s helming the affair, you’ll be screaming in the streets WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?!?

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Gingerdead Man' (2005)
Look at that fucking DVD box art. Look at it! Take a moment to draw it in. Think about how fucking ridiculous that is. This is another movie where if you actively chose to watch it, and were disappointed with what you got, YOU are the problem. Just the fucking name lets you know, without any uncertainty, the producers of this movie weren't out to make serious cinema. If you didn't go into this with a group of friends, a ton of booze, and the intention to riff this movie back to the stone age, I question your cognitive capacity.

The Importance of 'Peeping Tom'
So absorbing and successful at focusing on the camera as a tangible concept that you quickly forget this film is being directed by the late great Michael Powell, rather than aspiring director and psychopath Mark Lewis. The film focuses on a young man who murders women and uses a camera to film their final moments, immortalising them in his growing filmography. Peeping Tom was incredibly controversial upon its release and sent critics and audiences into uproar with it’s sleazy, sexual themes mixed with overt violence. As a result, it’s initial release only lasted five days before being pulled and single-handedly crumbling Michael Powell’s illustrious career. However, years on it, is now considered a masterpiece of both horror and British cinema and is widely considered as a spiritual partner to Hitchcock’s game-changing Psycho (1960) and also Rear Window (1954), connected in character types, subject matter and style. But this film did not get a chance to reach the box-office heights of it’s American counterparts.

Top 5 Funniest Cursed Items in 'Annabelle Comes Home'
Annabelle Comes Home is winding down its theatrical run after just over a month on the big screen and a successful run at the box office. The latest film in what I have personally dubbed the 'Conjuring-verse,' patent pending, Annabelle Comes Home has brought in over $70 million dollars domestically and more than $200 million dollars worldwide off a production budget reportedly less than $20 million dollars.

The Demon's Child
Aradia Gates was born on Wednesday, October 31, 1973 at 3:33 AM. That was the exact time of the death of her mother, Aurora, as well. Robert Gates gained a daughter and lost a wife on the same day. As happy as Robert was with the birth of someone he created, the loss of the love of his life was soul-numbing. He would be fortunate that he would not have to feel this pain for long.
