My Review of "Get Out"
I had thought I had written a review for Get Out a while back but then I realized that I didn't start writing reviews until 2018. This movie came out in 2017. When I first saw this movie I was dumbfounded by the brilliance of how Jordan Peele had married race relations and horror. Not only did he do this but he did it in the most unexpected manner.

USA Mythical Creatures
Mythical Creatures that may possibly exist. Number one is the Alabama White Thang. The Alabama White Thang is a creature who wanders in the north Alabama woods. This creature has been described in a few different ways but one of the strangest is a seven feet tall being with the body of a kangaroo and the head of a cat. It has also been described as an albilno bigfoot. Though this creature is tall it is known for moving fast, it stands on two legs but is said to run on all four. This is a snake-like creature that inhabits the waters near Key Island. It has a seven foot head and a tail with a flipper. The Tizheruk has taken people from peirs without them noticing the creature. Number three is the Arizona Mogollon Monster. This creature is seven feet tall with big eyes that are said to be wild and red. It is covered in black or reddish brown fur except for its chest, face, hands, and feet. They also have a bad odor some say it smells like dead fish others say it smells like a skunk with bad body odor still others say it smells like decaying peat moss and the musk of a snapping turtle. This creature is said to be nocturnal and omnivorous. They are very territorial and can be violent. They walk with wide strides, they can mimic the wildlife around them. This creature builds a nest as well, they emit odd sounds such as whistles and what sounds like a woman in very great distress. They decapitate deer before consumption and throw rocks from places hidden from site. Number four is Arkansas Fouke Monster. This monster is said to be described as being a humanoid-like creature covered in long dark hair. It is seven feet tall and an estimated weight of two hundred and fifty to three hundred pounds. Its chest is said to be about three feet wide. It moves swiftly like a gallop and swings its arms the same way as a monkey. This creature is also said to smell like a combination of a skunk and a wet dog, it also is said to have red eyes the size of silver dollars. Number five is Tahoe Tessie. Tahoe Tessie is similar to Nessie of Loch Ness but she is living in Lake Tahoe. She is a sea serpent type creature. Number six is the Colorado Slide-Rock Bolter. This is a whale-like creature that lives in the Rocky mountains. This creature sets itself up on a high cliff and waits for something or someone to come wandering by, that is when it strikes it releases its tail and slides down the mountain at high speeds with the help of a liquid that comes from the corners of its mouth. It demolishes everything in its path before consuming the unsuspecting prey. Number seven is the Connecticut Melon Heads. There are two tales of this myth: one is about an asylum for the criminally insane which burned down in the fall of 1960, killing most of the staff and inmates. It was said that ten to twenty inmates escaped the fire and survived hiding in the woods. The melon head is supposedly from turning cannibal to survive the harsh winter, and from inbreeding. The other tale of this myth, is that the melon heads are a colonial-era family who was banished for accusations of witchcraft and took refuge in the woods as for the melon head it is also said to have happened because of inbreeding. The melon heads are said to prey on people who enter their territory. Number eight is the Delaware Zwaanendael merman. They have a wide toothy mouth and large, ridged eye sockets that dominate their face. With hands that are clawed like reptiles, its body is covered in bone ridges. It’s skin and scales are a ashy black-gray. It is not very big, only a foot or so in length and is more closely resembled to its cousin the Fiji mermaid. Number nine is Florida's Skunk Ape. This is a creature that is said to inhabit Florida, North Carolina, and Arkansas though most of the reports come from Florida. This creature was named after it’s appearance and odor. This creature was said to be an ape-like creature covered in hair and ran up right on two legs. And finally number ten is the Georgia Altamaha ha also called Altie. This is a legendary creature that is said to inhabit the shallow streams and abandoned rice fields near the mouth of the Altamaha river. Many reports of this creature have surfaced but most say that the creature is just an alligator gar. There was a report in 2018 of a body washing up on a beach, but was made out of a stuffed shark and paper mache.

Cat's Paw
Tragedy. It’s a small word but it has huge meaning. I could see the effects of what that word could do in the summer of 2001 when tragedy struck my neighborhood. It infected and contaminated everything. The worst part was that tragedy came with a crap load of emotions. Sometimes devastating emotions.

Not an explosion but a whimper and a sniffle
What if humans were not the true inhabitants of their planet? It is a question that has been become a serious issue based on the events of the past few months. For years, we have looked at all the stone structures that appear to defy logic if you consider the technology at the time they were created were ropes, logs and man power. The questions that Sci Fi enthusiasts ponder was why there is no history of these builders and how the structures were created with such precision and expertise like the perfectly cut stones of Cusco, Peru or the stone guardians of Easter Island. However, the question that some people in unnamed government agencies were focused on since 1947 is when they would return and what would the results of that event. In the Fall of 2019, the original inhabitants made their plans painfully apparently to the out matched primative 6 billion humans that were not prepared for the pending conflict.

Seven Again
Nothing holds back the dependability and stability of a man in his parallel dimension. I never call out, I never miss a day of hard work. The glimmer of light cast from my gold wedding band shines in my eyes, blinding me from true reality. Yes, I am a husband in the parallel universe. My face is soft under the general lighting, but underneath the scope, you’ll see the crows feet that walk around my eyes. Lines carved lightly from the laughs, the sudden surprises. The smile I flash to my brilliant wife. A woman whose daring nature brought her praise from colleagues and peers through the work of charity. Her smile is much more worn out from giving it to everyone. Her body tells two stories of new life. Feminine life created from myself and herself. We have a perfect life. Two adults, two children, who stay in their role. We have alarms, routine, love. Nothing exists in our home to diminish the order we’ve built. That alarm keeps blaring. Why is that alarm going off while my children are playing on their slip n slide? Their skin shining under a scorching sun, slick with water from the hose that waters our garden. That alarm is ruining their play time. They’re worried about being adults, having to wake up for work. Work?
