Prisoner Number 804
A Call for Freedom: Imran Khan's Message from Adiala Jail

"Prisoner Number 804" (Qaidi Number 804) is a term that has been extensively discussed in Pakistan, particularly within political circles and on social media. This number is associated with former Prime Minister Imran Khan during his imprisonment in Adiala Jail.
However, it's not entirely clear whether this was his actual prisoner number or if it was adopted as a symbolic identifier by his supporters to draw attention to his incarceration.
This number has been interpreted in various ways:
* Political Identity: Imran Khan's supporters use it as a form of protest against his imprisonment and the treatment he received.
* Symbolic Significance: It has become a means to raise questions about the plight of a prisoner in Pakistan's political landscape and the justice system.
A Call for Freedom: Imran Khan's Message from Adiala Jail
"Instead of going through the trouble of bringing a 27th amendment after the 26th through a sham parliament, they should openly declare 'monarchy,' because the country is currently under a complete dictatorship.
The foundation of Pakistan is 'La Ilaha Illallah' (There is no god but Allah). This kalma liberates humans from all forms of slavery. Pakistan was freed from the British after great sacrifices to create a country where every citizen would have personal freedom. But here, the situation is entirely opposite, and a mafia wants to keep the entire nation enslaved. I will live in the dark cell of a prison, but I will not accept slavery. My message to everyone is that everyone should prefer imprisonment over such slavery, because if we are not free outside, what's the use of such freedom? Allama Iqbal's falcon flies high; it doesn't live as anyone's slave.
I call upon the entire nation, especially the workers and supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), to launch a movement against the ongoing system of oppression in the country after Ashura. For me, death is better than accepting this system of slavery.
My voice is being suppressed in every way so that my message cannot reach the people and no one is left to stand against oppression. But I will stand against oppression until my last breath, and I have faith in my Lord that the shadow of tyranny will soon end from Pakistan.
In a democracy, four things are very important: the right to vote, the rule of law, morality, and a free media. The 26th constitutional amendment has abolished all four of these:
* Right to Vote: When a dictator comes, they don't need a vote, so they run the country by force. The way Form 47 assemblies were formed and now reserved seats have been distributed has made the public feel that their vote has no importance.
* Rule of Law: The judiciary has been transformed into a subordinate department of the government. Courts have been filled with judges of their choice, and the hands and feet of independent judges have been tied. This only happens during martial law.
* Societal Morality: This amendment has buried morality in society. People who are not the elected representatives of the public have been seated in the assemblies. Open buying and selling of assembly members are ongoing, and the judiciary is also under the thumb of the same mafia.
* Free Media: In a dictatorship, the media has been completely shackled. Freedom of expression is completely banned. Independent journalists are being targeted, and the rest have been bought.
Protest is a fundamental democratic and constitutional right. But our 26 members of the provincial assembly who protested in the Punjab Assembly have been suspended. Ahmad Bhachar and the PTI MPAs deserve praise for challenging the pharaohs. Until our 26 members are reinstated, our members will hold their assembly outside. The fake Form 47 assemblies, in any case, do not represent the people."
