‘General Hospital’ leak: Roger Howarth might come back as Drew Cane and Kim Nero may be recast
Viewers have been speculating about what happens next and now they have some clues.

Jesus knew who Judas was
Judas Iscariot was the man the Bible says betrayed Jesus with a kiss. Matthew 10:1-4, Mark 3:13-19, and Luke 6:12-16 reveal how he was chosen to follow the Lord.
The Gospels also reveal that the disciple that the Savior caled friend had turned his back on Him long before the night of The Last Supper. And Jesus was well aware of the traitor in His midst.
The Apostle John was a seer. Some call him a prophet. He had an insight into Jesus that his comrades did not. In his gospel he provides specific details about Judas' character and Jesus' knowledge of his heart long before the arrest. One of the most profound scriptures is found in John 6:70–71:
Jesus says, "Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!" John points out that He was speaking of Judas the son of Simon Iscariot.
How long was Judas a hater
While John refers to himself as the "beloved disciple" and along with the other disciples refers to Jesus as Lord and Master Judas seems indifferent as if he does not belong. His speech when addressing the Man he followed for three years betrays him.
During the anointing at Bethany (John 12:4–6) Judas objects to the waste of expensive oil a woman poured on Jesus. John also wrote that Judas was a thief. He was the treasurer and stole from the ministry's money bag.
Judas did not fear Jesus or adhere to the Comandment "Thou Shall Not Steal." He was in the group but was not really one of them. Some theologians believe he thought Jesus woudl set up an earthyl kingdom and overthrow the Romans who were ruling at the time.
Perhaps he even listened to the Jewish leaders who were against Jesus and agreed with them. There is no way to know for certain what one thing turned his heart so cold. However, Judas did something that those who are not true believers in Christ do today.
Jesus was not Lord and Master to Judas
You may hear people say they believe in the teachings of Jesus but they don't accept that he died for our sins. Judas called Jesus rabbi which was an insult to His divinity.
When Judas, the one who would betray him, said, “Surely you don’t mean me, Rabbi?” Jesus answered, “You have said so.”(Matthew 26:25).
And he came up to Jesus at once and said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” And he kissed him. Jesus said to him, “Friend, do what you came to do.” (Matthew 26:49-50).
The other disciples believed Jesus was the Son of God and saw Him as their Master and Lord. Some Bible scholars suspect that when Jesus rebuked Judas for saying the woman wasted the oil this is when his heart turned cold.
Whatever the reason he decided to turn his Leader of three years over to His enemies. What did Judas expect to happen? Did he think Jesus would be thrown in jail for a short time and then released?
He went to the Jewish priest and offered to betray Jesus for a price. Matthew 26:14–16: "What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?" They count out thirty pieces of silver.
Mark 14:10–11: Judas goes to the chief priests; they are delighted and promise him money.
Judas was probably brooding for a long time before he made his move. Had it been weeks, months, a year or the entire time he followed the Lord that his hatred festered? He sat at the table with Jesus during The Last Supper knowing that he had set things in motions for a mob to show up with clubs and spears to arrest Jesus..
Jesus asked two important questions
Matthew 16:13 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?”
14 So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.
Judas and Peter's perceptions differed
Judas never accepted Jesus as His Lord and Master. he did not consider him the Son of the Living God although he walked with him for three and one half years just like Peter.
Today there are those who say the teachings of Christ benefit them but they stop short of calling Him Lord and Savior. They attend church, read the Bible and call themselves Christians the same way Judas gave the appearance he was one of the twelve disciples who were closest to Christ.
Judas Iscarriot realized his error and gave back the thirty pieces of silver saying he had betrayed innocent blood. He was so remorseful he went out and hanged himself.
