How drama can spring out of the blue is forever a mystery. How all of a sudden, from nowhere today, there was a sudden uprising against current Big Brother Naija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is something that I just didn't understand so of course I had to go digging to find out and now I'm ready to present you guys with everything that happened.

If like me you were confused about all of the dragging and lashing Ebuka was getting, then stick around cuz I'm about to tell you what caused it, what people (including fellow celebrities and Ex-BBNaija housemates) said about it, and finally what Ebuka himself said about the whole drama.

Why Some Nigerians Want Ebuka Out

The first question you're probably asking is: why exactly do some Nigerians want Ebuka out as the host of Big Brother Naija?

Well, there are a number of reasons people are giving.

1. People think Ebuka has been biased in the past.

Some people believe that in past seasons, Ebuka has shown evidence of being biased. For example, this Twitter user said:

Wow.

I like Ebuka o, but he is bias if we’re being honest. If you observe closely you’ll notice he has a most liked and least liked housemates almost every season.

And you can also get a hint from who his wife posts or supports.

Besides that, he is very good at his job.

Another said:

Was Ebuka biased? Yes a little bit

There is something called unconscious bias.. it happens to everyone

But calling for his job is a reach

And yet another person said:

Ebuka has never liked my fave , Every year I have dragged him for his bias , but calling for him to be replaced?! Haba! He is a good host and brings spice to that show! Wtf is wron with y'all?

I mean is it that deep?

2. People think it's time for a fresh face

Another big reason people have been stating they want Ebuka out over the last 24 hours is because they say that they want a fresh face - specifically according to many people on social media, a woman. Nancy Isime has been the name that has been called out a lot with a lot of people saying that even if she doesn't overthrow him as host, she should join him as a co-host.

One user wrote in saying:

Why can't a woman host BBN? Why can't BBN have 2 hosts? There are no rules anywhere. Also, nobody is taking anybody's job. If BBN replaces Ebuka it's because he's moved on to other things or they decided they wanted someone else, not because someone tweeted it

it would be good to ve a multiple host for BBN., Ebuka this week then next week we have Frank or Nancy Isime I'd love it..

Speaking on this topic of replacing Ebuka as host, popular Nigerian host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Frank Edoho tweeted out saying:

What did Ebuka do to deserve all this? Why would you want to change someone that has done a show successfully for only 3 years and have him replaced with one who did WWTBAM for 13 years?

Leave Ebuka alone! Please.

In response to all of the drama, Ebuka made a tweet which on the surface looks like it's talking about the weather, but when looked at further, fans made out that it was about the situation at hand. Ebuka said:

I thought rainy season was starting. What is this hot sun??????????????

Accurate or not, fans took the "hot sun" to be referring to all the heat he'd been getting throughout the day from social media. Some fans responded saying:
