Unlocking Movie Memories
For Gen Zer's and Millennials who Forget

If you are an older Generation Z member like myself, or a millennial who was hip and watching what all the kids were watching in the early 2000's and late 90's, you might have realized today's pop culture is nothing like the recent past.
Young people have traded ripped skinny jeans for oversized utility pants, they've traded slip-on sneakers for bulky white athleisure shoes, and they have definitely traded the side part for the middle part. No longer are the days of wholesome, gripping, and lovable Disney channel content, at least in our eyes. Maybe the content of today is just misunderstood by older viewers.
When scrolling past an unfathomable amount of viewing options, it is easy to forget about the classic movies and series that shaped our now extinct pop culture. Disney + makes it easy to find blasts from the past, but other movies and shows are harder to remember, and then even harder to find. So, here is a list of my favorite unlocked TV favorites from the past:
1. If you loved Hannah Montana...

You might want to rewatch Radio Rebel, because Debby Ryan's facial expressions go unmatched. Also try:
Read it and Weep (2006) Disney Plus

Because of Winn-Dixie (2005) Disney Plus
iCarly (2007) Netflix
Starstruck (2010) Disney Plus

Another Cinderella Story (2008) Amazon Prime Vide0
16 Wishes (2010) iTunes

Ramona and Beezus (2010) Disney Plus

2. If you loved Phineas and Ferb...

Maybe your next binge is Rugrats, Hey Arnold!, or Avatar the Last Airbender. "Obtuse, rubber goose, green moose, guava juice, giant snake, birthday cake, large fries, chocolate shake..." You can't go wrong with these animated classics:
