David Warner Tribute
Actor David Warner, known for roles on stage, radio, television and film has passed away aged 80. If you are a fan of any of these mediums, you will have heard of Warner, or seen some of his work: by many in the industry, he was regarded as one of the very best, and held in the same acclaim as actors like Ian McShain, Derek Jacobi, and the late John Hurt. Having starred in a number of high-profile roles in popular films and TV shows, as well having won an Emmy in 1981 and enjoyed a long association with the prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company, Warner has left a lasting legacy, and many fans of his work. His captivating presence on stage and screen made him popular with audiences, and his easy-going demeanour and playful attitude made him popular with actors too. He remains one of this country's finest actors, and, in the post below, I hope I can sum up the words to accurately and fairly pay tribute to one of the greatest actors of our generation.

A Clockwork Memoir
1. In 1981, Limeridge Mall opened in my hometown not too far from my aunt’s house. There was a Cineplex that played the big films of the day (Porky’s, Raiders of the Lost Ark, etc.) and my family took me to see Disney’s cartoon version of Robin Hood. I was eight years old and what I remember most about the day was the walk down the ramp to the theatres. There were separate lanes marked off with bars and on the right-hand side were the posters for each film. That was when I was struck by a huge white poster with a triangle framing the face of Alex, an eyeball and what seemed to be a naked statue of a fertility goddess.

Each film has been praised and criticised for various reasons, but they do bring a powerful message about equality and encourage young female fans to the genre.

5 Episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants where I hated Patrick
If you were born after 1990, chances are you have seen SpongeBob SquarePants as a kid. One of the most popular shows on Nickelodeon, SpongeBob is currently the fifth longest running animated show. We all know about the titular character; As mentioned in the show's popular theme song, he lives in a pineapple under the sea, he has a pet snail named Gary, he works as a fry cook at The Krusty Krab, and he loves to go jellyfishing. Most of all, he loves to spend time with his friends, especially his best friend Patrick Star. Patrick lives in a rock on the same block and SpongeBob and Squidward. He has won the hearts of kids and grownups alike with his comic relief, stupidity, etc. But there are some times where the potbellied sea star can be a huge jerk. Without further ado, Here are 5 episodes of SpongeBob where I hated Patrick. (Don't get me wrong, Patrick is one of my favorite characters on the show, but there are times where he is cruel. And he currently has a spin-off called The Patrick Star Show)

I Got a Writing Gig At CBR
I'm well aware that I haven't posted on this website very much recently, but there's a good reason for that. To preface this, writing has always been a passion of mine since I was a kid. Ideally, I wanted to create fiction. I wanted to wow people with amazing stories set in fantastical realms or with nail-biting action scenes. This may have been because of my passion for the sci-fi and fantasy genre, but it also stemmed from my love of comic books.
