THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS will be going country on Thursday, July 22 when the sibling singing duo Tigirlily makes an appearance in Genoa City. Sisters Kendra and Krista Slaubaugh who hail from North Dakota as did singers Peggy Lee, Wiz Khalifa, Jonny Lang, and Lynn Anderson. The sister act named their band in honor of the tiger lily flower that grew in the garden of their childhood home. The girls were encouraged to sing at young ages and quickly began to harmonize with each other.

It's not yet been revealed which of their songs Tigirlily will be performing on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS but you can listen to MY THANG, and DIG YOURSELF by clicking on the links in this article. The siblings stayed busy during the 2020 pandemic by utilizing virtual events and have 11 singles to date. They have close to 500,000 Tic Tic followers and say that for now, they are taking their success one single at a time.

On THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is in the music business and he is probably going to be the one who brings the talented siblings to Genoa City. It's been a while since Devon's had any music connections but this one will be a big deal. Tigirlily will perform as themselves it's probably for the benefit of one individual. Spoilers have revealed that Devon's younger brother Moses (Jacob Aaron Gaines) has a big surprise coming for Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster).

Sources for Y&R suggest that Tigirlily might be revealed as one of Faith's favorite groups. If true, then it's likely that Moses would enlist Devon in using his connections in getting the duo to come to town. This would be a huge surprise for Faith and could have an effect on how she proceeds from this point in her relationship with Moses. Faith has been through a lot this past year beginning with being bullied, to drinking, and wrecking her grandfather's truck. She had a kidney transplant and now is in recovery from the surgery. She is also in therapy for her drinking and the reasons that led to it all.

Faith and Moses have been growing closer for quite some time. There are a number of Y&R fans who believe the duo will become romantically involved. Nick and Sharon may have reservations about their young daughter dating and desire her to put the breaks on anything other than friendship. Victor Newman thinks it's wonderful that Neil Winters son is taking an interest in his granddaughter.

It's not clear whether or not Victor is considering anything romantic or assuming the duo are only good friends. Devon and Nate are happy that Moses is hanging out with Faith and Nikki was quite encouraging when her granddaughter talked to her last week. Tigerlily performing just for her might be what it takes for Faith to decide she wants something more than friendship from the son of the man who was her grandfather's close associate.

In 2013, 14-year-old Krista and 16-year-old Kendra made the decision to perform as singers as a career. The sisters increased their notoriety through social media platforms like TikTok and YouTube where they have many videos. The sisters made a name in the Dakota’s, Montana, and Minnesota, and in 2017 Tigirlily relocated from North Dakota to Country Music Capital Nashville, TN.

The sisters performed at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row where they would see their fans, who came from outside of Nashville to see them perform. Tigirlily recently released a five-song EP that can be streamed on multiple online platforms including iTunes and Spotify. Be sure to tune in to THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS on Thursday to see these talented siblings perform and find out what happens after Faith gets her surprise from Moses.
