The elephant philosophy

Before watching the movie "Lion King", I always have a concept, think the lion is the most cattle on the grassland. I've been to Africa several times to see animal migrations. I was in Kenya once, in the summer, and suddenly the weather changed, and there was thunder and lightning, and all the animals were running, except for the elephants, who didn't seem to have the concept. The lion was in front of the elephant, looking around and away. I said to myself, why are lions so timid? Those small animals run away as long as the thunder, how did the lion also run away

Those small animals run away as long as the thunder, how did the lion also run away? I found out later that on the grasslands, lions and elephants are polar species. Among carnivores, the lion is the king. In the animal world, of all carnivores and herbivores, elephants are king. This is interesting. Elephants eat food different from lions, elephants eat vegetarian, which is in large supply, easy to get, do not need to fight with anyone, "with people do not fight", but the elephant has to work hard, all the time to eat, the result has grown into the biggest head. Lions, on the other hand, they eat the next meal, eat a meal tube four or five days, but a minor to eat dozens of pounds of fresh meat. The survival of the lion is always on the premise of killing other animals, they and other animals are life and death contest, "you die I can live"; The elephant is "Everyone lives, but I work harder than you". I think the two animals have different philosophies of life. In addition, the lion is always "preemptive", otherwise, it can not eat, so the lion is always to eat running animals, catch them, eat them. Elephants, on the other hand, are always there. They're "postmovers." They never strike, even if it's a much smaller animal. I think, a person who does not argue with others and does not attack others can become the most cattle. But as if that's not enough, you have to be able to come in second if you're bullied. How Do elephants "Strike back"? First, self-protection, its skin has several centimeters thick, lion simply cannot chew down, elephant has "armor". Second, elephants can pick up enemies with their trunks and teeth and throw them to their deaths. Third, the elephant has a few tons of weight, those who fall undead "enemy", fall covered, the elephant can go to the other side trampled flat. It's all very simple -- defend, pick it up, squash it, nothing more.

I learned a kind of wisdom from the elephant, in order to maintain a strong position in the competition, as long as you do three things: first, do not dispute, you must not do "you live and he died" things, must do "everyone can live" things. Second, protect yourself. Third, do not stir up trouble, and do not fear trouble. When confronted with a challenge, you must fight back without any unnecessary movements. You must finish the matter in the most simple and effective way. I think both enterprises and individuals should act like elephants. The Tao Te Ching says, "If a man does not fight, then the world cannot fight with him." The elephant is a typical picture. The Tao Te Ching repeatedly says that "weakness wins strength", which is also reflected in the elephant. Who is the elephant most afraid of? I later discovered that elephants are most afraid of ants. It is ants that can kill elephants. What an interesting world! So this reminds me of another thing: the biggest things in the world should be wary of the smallest things. When you feel powerful, you must be aware that it may be the smallest thing, the smallest thing, that kills you. You have to remind yourself that it's not your enemies who kill you. It's the people you live with, who are close to you, who are friendly to you. So the fate of the elephant is very interesting: the lion can't do anything to him, but he is killed by his little brother's little brother, the tiniest friend he sees every day
