Ridge will save the day, as fans knew he would

Many fans of "The Bold and the Beautiful" are tired of the constant cycle of Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) breaking up and getting back together. Nevertheless, this is part of the current storyline, so here’s what the spoilers say will happen next (as if viewers didn't know).

Fans have been discussing in online groups and forums that they know that there will be some type of drama where Ridge rides to the rescue. He is going to swim to save his lady love's life.

Previews show Brooke enjoying herself, lying on the back of a boat driven by Nick Maroni (Jack Wagner) as Ridge runs along the pier shouting "Logan." However, this leads to a near tragedy when Maroni loses control, and the blonde is thrown overboard.

Eric Forrester will have his way

Eric Forrester (John McCook) observed Nick with an engagement ring on Friday and realized he was planning to propose to Brooke. Eric has been warning his son that he might lose the love of his life to her former husband, but Ridge remains in denial. For months, Eric has told Ridge that he broke up with Brooke over a misunderstanding and that she is the love of his life.

Some viewers are disappointed that Dr. Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) is letting her emotions influence her decisions rather than her professional judgment. Ridge got back together with Taylor as a rebound and for a long time only said he was committed to her.

While it took him a while to express his feelings and say "I love You," he has never outright declared that she is the love of his life. Taylor knows that Eric, Brooke, and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) all believe Bridge is destined to be together, but she cannot accept this truth, and her denial will cost her dearly. There is no doubt among viewers that Eric will have his way.

Taylor remains in denial

Nick tried to warn Taylor about the possible consequences of Ridge's behavior in Italy, but she insists she trusts him. Ridge believes he can marry Taylor and that Brooke will accept it. He doubts that she will fall for his half-brother's charms, but the news of the engagement ring may change everything.

Meanwhile, Taylor is in LA, left to ponder Sonna's words that Brooke and Ridge will reunite. Steffy Forrester (Jackie Wood) has continued to encourage her mother, but deep down, they both know what the future holds.

Ridge to the rescue

Ridge will locate Brooke and Nick, and be watching as she goes overboard after Nick loses control of the boat. It’s unclear if Nick will notice and try to assist, but Ridge will be in a position to jump into the water and attempt to save Brooke, who will be in distress.

Ridge might have a long swim, and Brooke will possibly be unable to stay above water which will add to the drama. Perhaps Nick also might be thrown overboard but if not, he will have to try to get his boat back under control.

The Italy adventure is ending

Either way, Masroni may watch helplessly as his half-brother rescues teh woman they both love. Some B&B fans wonder if Taylor will stick around once Ridge dumps her. Perhaps she and Nick might console one another as they used to be married and share a son.

Be on the lookout for additional The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers and tune in Monday to see what might be the conclusion of the Italy adventure for Brooke, Ridge, Eric, and Nick.
