'Stranger Things' Season Three Is Trash
Being a fan of Netflix’s overnight hit Stranger Things, it pains me to have such a strong negative opinion of the highly anticipated third season to feel the need to write this out, merely a month after it hit the streaming site. I stumbled upon the first season back in 2016 and like everyone else was captivated by the 80s nostalgia, likable (and not-so-likable) characters, creepy plot, and fantastic visuals. But somehow the qualities that drew me into the first season, and subsequently, the second, made me absolutely hate the third season. Here’s why season three was absolute garbage:

'BH90210': S01.E02. "The Pitch"
BH90210 is not an ordinary reboot. Conceptually speaking, BH90210 takes the reboot idea and turns it on its head. Comparatively, because the main cast members are each playing an alternate reality version of themselves, the dynamic we see on screen between the characters is reminiscent of what we saw in Wes Craven’s New Nightmare. Subsequently, because of the nature of the reboot, it's better than the original series. It literally breathes new life into the reboot bandwagon.

'Violet Evergarden' Episode 9
This episode picks up right where the previous episode left off; Gilbert has been shot by the enemy. During the next few minutes, we get to see the events leading up to the death of Gilbert, and how Violet loses her arms. We get to see Violet express extreme amounts of emotion, the sheer desperation that she is feeling in order to get Gilbert to safety, despite the fact that she had lost both her arms. To add to that, there was no way for Gilbert to muster up the strength after having been shot multiple times by the enemy.

'Four Weddings and a Funeral': S01.E06. “Lights, Camera, Wedding”
Be realistic. That relationship between Maya (Nathalie Emmanuel) and Duffy (John Reynolds) was never going to last. When Maya enters the party at the beginning of the episode, while it’s obvious Maya is actively avoiding immediately going to Duffy, there is something you might have missed.

Netflix Is Trying to Get ‘Seinfeld’ for 2021
I'm sure you have heard the bad news... both Friends and The Office will be leaving Netflix some time in the next couple of years. However, Netflix doesn't want to leave their streaming site without a classic sitcom. In order to fill the gap, Netflix has entered what turned out to be an epic and entertaining bidding war for Seinfeld, which is scheduled to leave Hulu in 2021.

Shall We 'Dance With Devils'? Review
Dance with Devils tells the story of Ritsuka Tachibana, a “normal” high school girl who happens to discover that her home was invaded, and her mother was kidnapped. Ritsuka discovers that she is stuck in the middle of a war between devils and vampires. It is believed that she is the last remaining key that knows the whereabouts of the forbidden grimoire, a magical item that gives its owner immense power and control over the whole world.

I Didn't Like 'The Umbrella Academy' - Yes, I Said It.
There are thousands of articles out there singing the praises of The Umbrella Academy, an award-winning comic and superhero science fiction series, which appeared on Netflix in 2019. The television series was based on a Dark Horse comic, which first appeared in 2007 and won an Eisner Award (the Academy Award of comics) in 2008 for Best Finite Series/Limited Series.

Misunderstood: 'How I Met Your Mother'
Sit-coms have been altered, and there is no longer a laugh track. Instead there is some awkward comedy and some hilarious moments, for example, Brooklyn 99 is legendary. We all love watching Friends over and over again, and seems no matter how many times I watch it, I am still laughing at the jokes. However, what if we are simply misinterpreting How I Met Your Mother. The story is told from the narrator's point of view, Ted Mosby, who is a helpless romantic living in New York city, finding the love of his life. All of his friends he has are all seen from his point of view. We might find the characters unrelatable at times. But maybe this is what the writers wanted? How so, you ask? Well, think about it, Barney is so unrealistically horny, and he wants to have no real relationship and just have sex. Much like Joey Tribiani from Friends, except the difference is that Barney takes all challenges, and basically has sex with anything or any woman that moves. Maybe this is just how Ted sees Barney, when realistically Barney is really just Joey Tribiani, but takes his game to the next level. Then, how perfect Marshal and Lily are—they are also probably not that perfect, again this is just how Ted Mosby sees them. Then, how perfect Robin is—she is always perfect in each and every episode, it feels like she has not once screwed up. Once again, this is all coming from Ted's perspective. It is not how the television wanted to show them. It was how Ted saw all of his friends. When he tells some of the stories, he sometimes has to go back and tell it again, or starts telling another story that is linked to another episode. That's what makes the show relatable. It is how Ted tells the stories, and how he sometimes can't remember certain aspects, so he just makes it up as he goes. Even Barney's apartment, his television was probably not the whole wall, but it was just really big, bigger than anyone has seen, however, Ted probably saw it as a whole wall television. The life-size stormtrooper could actually be real. It is just the characters that are romanticized to how Ted Mosby sees things. Since everything is told from his perspective, then all the characters and everything that happens is not from the audience's perspective, but from Ted Mosby's, and I think that is why some people do not find it relatable.

'Good Trouble' Review
Good Trouble is a TV dramedy on Freeform that is a spin off of the critically acclaimed show The Fosters. In the show, sisters Callie (played by Maia Mitchell) and Mariana (played by Cierra Ramirez) move to Los Angeles to start their lives after college. Maia Mitchell and Ciera Ramirez are actually executive producers of the show, and best friends in real life. Callie is an aspiring lawyer while Mariana dreams of being an engineer. The first season of the show was released in the beginning of this year and this past week, they just released the last episode of their second season. Both seasons can be streamed on Hulu, and there are a total of 25 episodes. The show has yet to be renewed for a third season, but I would certainly count on it.

'Violet Evergarden' Episode 7
In this one episode we get to see Violet contemplate her past actions by observing the grief someone else is going through as a result of the death of someone incredibly close to him, and the effects that would have. Then finding out that Gilbert is presumed dead, finding herself in the same place that Oscar was at the start of the episode, running away from the truth, not wanting to accept this information. She gets to see and experience grief all in one episode. This episode revolves around a writer that had lost both his wife and daughter to illness, and is suffering from writer's block as a result. He now spends his time drinking to the point that he is unable to even type.

Season 5 of 'Lucifer'
They are now saying that Season 5 of Lucifer, will be the last, and final season, but that it will be split into two parts. Yes, two parts. Filming for part one of Season 5 starts in September, but we won't see any actual episodes until sometime in 2020. We still have to wait a few more months to see how this story will end.
