A Filmmaker's Review: "Behind Her Eyes" (Netflix, 2021)
I'm not going to lie, the concept and a lot of the writing was pretty good to be perfectly honest. Unfortunately though, the acting was not - except for the woman who portrays Louise - she was alright. The series seems to be more about big plot twists and making the viewer feel shocked rather than explaining what is actually going on here. The fact that we get a very important plot point not until about episode four or five in the series and yet, this is expected to be a massive part of the ending. The problem here is that it has been pretty much shoe-horned in. Yes, it explains the 'twist' ending, but it also feels like it is there just to give a reason for it too. There really is a certain amount of the acting, especially in the latter episodes alongside the strangeness of the plot, that is laughable. Let us take a look at this.

Loving Fate: The Winx Saga
Allow me to invite you to a world that is mystical, magical, and extraordinary. It is a drama series on Netflix with one season (so far), and it aired in 2020. The series remind me of the Harry Potter stories, only they are not about young wizards. They are about teenage fairies. The series is called Fate: The Winx Saga.

Anything, brought to you by the genius: Amy Sherman-Palladino
When deciding what to watch, I ask myself a few key things. Do I want to laugh? Cry? Do I want Politics with a capital 'P', or politics with a lower-case? I am fascinated with Political shows, such as Game of Thrones, House of Cards, and Designated Survivor. And there are the less obvious Political shows, such as practically Under the Dome, Years & Years, or basically anything produced by Seth MacFarlane.

The Dysfunctional Family TV Series to Watch in 2021
It’s so easy to obsess and binge TV shows that revolve around dysfunctional families, because they make us feel like our own family is perfectly normal in comparison, and if Arrested Development was your family’s brand of messed up then you’ll love The House of Flowers (Spanish: La Casa de las Flores).

If This was my TV Choice.
Believe it or not, but I found myself last year watching several Chinese and South Korean television series. At first it was difficult ,watching and trying to read the subtitles, but I soon adjusted to them. I was fascinated by the costumes and , the superb acting. There was one television series I loved, the Good doctor. The actor who played the part was fabulous. I know there is an American version and , for those of you who have seen the series if, this was a series you liked ,then I recommend you watch the South Korean version, I actually preferred the South Korean version. Because I enjoyed it so much , I found myself watching other television series. I found it interesting to see the other countries, I was very surprised for example when I saw how modern South Korea was and, how beautiful.

All About Sisterhood
I was introduced to Gilmore Girls when I was in college in 2007. Long after the show had been airing live, my sister gifted me a few seasons on DVD for my 19th birthday. Ahh nostalgia...back in the day where if you wanted to "binge watch" you pulled out an encyclopedia-sized box full of a season's worth of episodes at a time. Side note: Do people still know what encyclopedias are?! Instead of pushing the "Yes I am STILL watching" button, you had to change out disks every 3-4 episodes. I immediately fell in LOVE. The mother/daughter dynamic, the quirky small town, the COFFEE. The characters immediately drew me in, and the fast-pace and quick-wit kept me coming back. I rooted for Rory and Dean while reflecting fondly on my high-school romances. When she got caught up with the bad boy, Jess, I couldn't help but remember the time I dated a guy 6-years older whom my family had FORBIDDEN I see. Obviously making him all the more interesting to me, I gave 2 years of my life away to a poorly written love story. I watched episode after episode, season after season. All I asked for was another season on DVD for birthdays and Christmas until I had completed my 7-season set. My bookshelf-turned-entertainment-center proudly housed my collection, and I re-watched each season more times than I can count during the many years I lived alone and couldn't afford cable.

The Circle: If Big Brother was an episode of Catfish, made by the Black Mirror creators
Big Brother, the sensation that spanned almost two decades from the turn of the millennium, was the British version of the Dutch reality television franchise of the same name. If you're an adult Briton, the chances are that you've known and loved the show in all of its intrusive glory. Alas, all good things have to sadly come to an end.
