On TV: Why I Don't Watch Police Procedurals
In the real world, "To protect and serve" carries with it the unspoken addendum: "whites only." A few years ago during a sunny, summer day in Arkansas, I was driving my mother to an appointment. As we were chatting about some innocuous topic, we saw flashing blue lights behind us.

If you like/love Doctor Who...
These films include many that involve time travel via device, suspended animation/other hibernation, paradoxes, aliens, etc. In addition, as the show has been on/off since 1963, many genres have been echoed in Doctor Who including leveraging of classic films, mainly sci-fi but sometimes horror. In some cases, sources may have been remade themselves and if I reference both, that means elements from both could be Doctor Who-esque and/or have equal value/merit of their quality.

If You Like "Seinfeld", You'll Love "Life In Pieces"
About "Seinfeld" "Seinfeld" is a sitcom created by actors/comedians Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”). It revolves around 4 friends whose should-be-mundane life experiences are somehow heightened to outlandish proportions in every episode. The star and the show’s namesake is Jerry Seinfeld. He, along with his besties, neighbor Cosmo Kramer (Michael Richards), former girlfriend Elaine Benes (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and longtime best friend George Costanza (Jason Alexander) are the backbone of the show often described as “a show about nothing”.

10 Sweetest Moments In WandaVision
WandaVision, the MCU's first series for Disney Plus, changed from comedy to drama quite quickly, with just a little dose of horror thrown in for good measure. But it wasn't all doom and gloom. The series still had enough nice moments to cling too to keep the dark ones from becoming too much.

The Influence of Television
Mara Brock Akil Moesha, Girlfriends, The Game, Being Mary Jane, Love is… these shows are some of the shows that Black women watched and shaped us into the people we are today. Today we have a lot of shows on TV and many television options with Netflix, Hulu, YouTube and different apps. 20 years ago, we didn’t have all these options and the internet wasn’t giving us daily access into people’s lives. We had a limited view of what we can see. Television is very influential and what you watch can expose you to different ideas that ultimately shape your beliefs and who you become.

Love it or Hate It!!!
If this, then that. With an endless list of movies and tv shows at our fingertips these days it seems like we’d have no problem finding something entertaining. However the opposite may be true. We are bombarded with so many choices we don’t know what to watch despite every app laying out a list of what we should put on our queue next.

WandaVision Finale: 10 questions still left unanswered
WandaVision has intrigued me like few other shows ever have. This might go against popular opinion, but the reason I enjoyed it so much is that it is so unique and different from the rest of the Marvel productions.

Loved WandaVision? Then You'll Get Hooked On The Umbrella Academy.
WARNING: This article may contain spoilers. Wanda Vision is a lovable MCU series set up as multiple sitcoms. The Umbrella Academy is a eye catching original Netflix series. Both series are classified as dark comedy, drama, science fiction, superhero, fantasies. These shows have their differences making them their own stories. Their similarities are why I recommend watching both. Two of their biggest parallels are coming to terms with their pasts, and unfathomable power.
