Netflix's The One - TV Show Review [SPOILERS]
Imagine being able to find your “one true love” as easily as using a dating app like Tinder, for example. Rebecca and her science partner James discover a way to use genetics to find the perfect match. When Rebecca realizes just how this discovery can change everything, she decides to betray her best friend. However, she appears to be unaware of the chain reaction of destruction she has put into play. Whether or not Rebecca was completely unaware is hard to tell. Once you get to know what she is like as a person, for me, she became the prettiest ugly person I’d ever seen in a TV show. And reminds me of the saying, “beauty is only skin deep”.

If you love The Last Airbender (the live-action movie), then have I got a show for you!
Welcome, reader. May I offer you a cup of tea and a riveting tale? I was wandering through the IMDb reviews of M. Night Shyamalan’s live-action movie adaptation of The Last Airbender, when I happened across a most interesting sight: it seems that there are multiple people who, at the time of reviewing, had not yet watched Avatar: The Last Airbender—the animated Nickelodeon masterpiece. Yet, they had watched, and had thoroughly enjoyed, the live-action movie:

If Deciding, Then ask the Doggo
The thing about being a dog, is that I’ve probably seen a lot more television than you. Whilst your screen time might include the select cuts of your own favourite shows, as the four-legged Head of Security in my family I am in the unique position of being present at almost every moment when the TV is on.

Detective and Crime Dramas
I have a bad habit of sticking to old shows and movies. I'm not sure why, but when it comes to trying something new, I am wary. Yes, I am finicky, and I have come to terms with the fact that I will suffer the consequences of missing out. Thankfully, I have a husband who pushes me to give things a chance every so often. I've always loved a good mystery, but am a stickler for sticking close to canon when it comes to shows or movies about fictional detectives that I love. I've read every Sherlock Holmes story and novella by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, including the notated versions. I've seen most television and movie renditions of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson, Jeremy Brett's portrayal being my personal favorite, and my husband calls me a Sherlock Holmes snob. When I saw the newest show with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, I was skeptical. I ended up loving the series, however, and how they adjusted the stories to fit a modern setting. Another detective I am particular about when seeing him on screen is Hercule Poirot. Agatha Christie is another of my favorite authors and I enjoyed watching David Suchet play the detective. I say all of this about these two authors and their now famous detectives, because so many other mystery and crime shows have been influenced by them. A few of them are wonderful, and others have been either too predictable or simply boring with unoriginal characters. Having filtered through these other shows and movies looking for more to satiate my appetite for a good mystery, I have a few I could recommend, each with their own tone and characters you'll fall in love with.

Wayne, John Hughes Meets John Wick
Realistically, Wayne can be compared to a myriad of other shows/movies because it has a lot of different elements to it. Freaks and Geeks, True Romance, The End of the F***ing World, The Wizard of Oz, The Hobbit, Baby Driver, Road Trip, any many more. However, my favorite comparison has been “John Wick meets John Hughes.” It seems to sum it up perfectly. Wayne, a young Dirty Harry, who is literally unable to stand for what he deems as injustice is quick to put himself in harm's way to make things right.

The Perfect Formula
If This, Then That...... I get signs from the universe when I pick my favorite binge-worthy show from the action - packed scenes of Blacklist to the dark thrillers of Supernatural; these are all shows that I have watched since I was young. I am older now and I still love them! My recomendation for " The Perfect Formula" is a little bit of magic, action, realism, a sprinkle of open-mindedness, inspiration and a dash of subtle influence from your surrounding environments and Viola you have the perfect recipe for an amzing binge worthy T.V. experience.
