The Reviews for 'Hotel Artemis' Are in and They Don't Look Good
Hotel Artemis has all the pieces of being a really good under the radar movie that will slip by the opening of Ocean's 8. Though the box office is not like horseshoes and close won't cut it. There is enough of a loose story structure that allows the audience to follow along but there is nothing to latch on to.

Movie Review: 'The Rider'
The Rider is a remarkable achievement. The story of a rodeo rider facing a life and death decision, The Rider was directed by newcomer Chloe Zhao using actors who’ve never acted before as her stars. The family at the heart of The Rider is a rodeo and horse riding family first and actors a distant second. This gives The Rider an authentic quality that combines with Zhao’s beautiful visuals and design to create a remarkable film experience.

Stopping by Stars Hollow: A Critic’s First Watch of 'Gilmore Girls' - Season 2, Episode 1
I can’t wait for the day when I can eat a whole cheeseburger with bacon and cheddar covered french fries, a chocolate milkshake, and a red velvet cake. Or just be able to have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I am a woman of simple means, and one of those means is currently filled with the sadness of not being able to eat anything with flour or sugar in it.

Movie Review: 'Adrift'
Director Baltasar Kormakur had an uphill battle convincing me to feel sorry for his characters in the action movie Everest. In that film, based on true events, characters lost their lives as they attempted to ascend the world’s tallest peak. These men knew what they were doing could cost them their lives and thus I was not emotionally invested in their journey beyond a normal level of compassion I have for just about anyone.

'The Letdown' Review
I am a true binge-head. When I find a show, I get sucked into the world that the writers have created and cannot pull myself out until the series is over or until I run out of episodes. This makes starting a brand new show difficult because they end too quickly for my taste and because of that I have made a rule for myself that I do not watch a program unless there are at least two seasons available. Its a tough rule but it works for me most of the time. However, at times I break my rule and with the new Netflix series The Letdown, I am so glad that I did.

If You Gave a Jackass Movie a Plot
Johnny Knoxville's new movie Action Point is actually not that bad. Yes, it's not going to transcend cinema, yes, the slapstick pain inducing comedy of Knoxville is overplayed, and yes, there is not enough screen time given to a young cast that could have had more to do than being the minions that run Action Point. It's not going to be a top ticket seller even after two weeks in theaters, but it's worth a watch. It is definitely a movie you do not need to go see in theaters but worth watching if you scroll past it on Redbox, Netflix, or whatever movie streaming service you use.

‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ - Trailer Review
The second trailer for Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse has been dropped. It’s a good’n, really it’s a good’n. This trailer gives a lot more insight into what the story will entail and how Morales’ debut will be spun onto the big screen. Without further ado, let’s get picking at those big moments from the reel we’ve been gifted.

Stopping by Stars Hollow: A Critic’s First Watch of 'Gilmore Girls' - Season 1, Episode 20
So to be fair and honest I am already deep into season 3 already. I started this series with the goal to pace myself and to treat each episode with thought and care, but my goodness the binge appeal of this series is so addicting. Thusly while I continue to brush through each episode with a fine tooth comb, please know dear reader that I am in the thick of it and that shit gets buck wild.

Stopping by Stars Hollow: A Critic’s First Watch of 'Gilmore Girls' - Season 1, Episode 19
My goodness, I feel like a worn out old woman. My back muscles are so sore for absolutely no reason, and I like always all I want to do is take a nap. But, instead of letting the need to nap drag me down we’re going to make brownies and be a good friend a hang out at a bonfire. I’m also gonna be a good writer and critic and fulfill my purpose by finishing my articles instead of playing video games! AND I’m going to apply for more jobs even though I really, really don’t want to fill out an application for the 700th time!

Stopping by Stars Hollow: A Critic’s First Watch of 'Gilmore Girls' - Season 1, Episode 18
Did you know that sometimes, when you apply for jobs, they’re fake? And that people try to get your telephone number in order to scam you into going to a fake company? Who knows what will happen when you go there! Maybe you’ll become a sex slave! Or have your kidneys removed! All I know is that I am absolutely exhausted of dealing with fake companies that waste my time as well as companies who try to lure you in with perks only to reveal that their salaries are painstakingly low.

'My Hero Academia'
I've decided to start a new series. I want to write about things I'm passionate about. And one of my favorite things to discuss is anime! So, I'm going to start a new series of articles talking about anime I've recently watched, and reviewing it. I'll talk about the plot and the characters. I'll talk about what I liked about the show, and what I don't like. I'll also rate every show on a scale from 1-10. And, If you're worried about spoilers, don't be! I won't spoil anything important! I'm going to review it first, and then talk a little about the plot, and how family friendly it is. I just don't want to spoil it. Alright, enough talking, let's get into it!
