'When We First Met'—Review (Netflix)
Is there a person that one is supposed to meet? Most of us have, at some time, been besotted with or liked the wrong person. That is life. Still, there is a train of thought that says we are destined to meet certain people and certain people are destined to be together.

'Avengers: Endgame' Review by Someone Who Doesn't Like Marvel
I've always felt like an outsider when it comes to my opinion on the "Marvel Cinematic Universe." To put it bluntly: I dislike it. A lot. Even after watching several entries in the now 22-film saga, I've never felt the same rush and excitement that everyone else seems to get when another entry is released. I was 12 when Iron Man (2008) was released and that straight away left a bitter taste in my mouth—and while I did enjoy Avengers Assemble (2012), it was a fleeting thing and the appeal wore off pretty quickly. But I digress.

My Review of 'Game of Thrones' Season 8 Episode 3
I was a little disappointed in episode 2. I knew they had to have build up episodes to get to the big battle against the white walkers. They only have six episodes though, how are they going to use two episodes as build up? Well, the people of Game of Thrones know what they're doing. Episode 3 was a hell of an episode.

The Best Superhero Film Ever
It has been a few days since the event that was Avengers: Endgame happened. The media; newspapers, television, internet, have all covered the film extensively, both in reviewing it, and discussing various aspects of the whole MCU now that this chapter of the cinematic story has been resolved.

'The Perfect Date'—Review (Netflix)
Maybe I’m getting softer as I age. Films seem to have more of an emotional impact on me as of late. Not that I was some soulless, hard-hearted, individual before, but I definitely do get much more of the feels when watching a film these days.

Game Over
So this is it. After 11 long years, and 21 movies, we have reached the end of Marvel Studios’ first arc of stories, nicknamed as The Infinity Saga. Avengers: Endgame is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and stars so many actors and actresses that if I tried to list them all, that alone would take up three pages. Oh, and it’s three hours long. Needless to say, do not order and drink that 32-oz or 64-oz soda before or during the movie. Other than that, everyone is curious to know if the movie is any good. I’m here to tell you… Yes, yes it is. Now let’s go into the juicy details of the movie event of the year.

'Gotham' Series Finale
Gotham ended last night, sadly. The show premiered in 2014, with a young Bruce Wayne in—that classic Batman scene—the alley where his parents died. The show took on the challenge of being an origin story for many Gotham villians, and Batman himself.

'Peppermint'—A Review (Prime)
It was as far back as Luc Besson’s 1990Nikita, where the popularity for a lone wolf, female assassin/vigilante/super spy probably began. There had been female action films, and television, before that. The seventies had Pam Grier and Tamara Dobson, in Foxy Brown and Cleopatra Jones respectively.
