I Read and Watched Game of Thrones at the Same Time
The Birth of an Idea In December of 2019, I graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Creative Advertising. I didn't have a job lined up, but with no student loans, I didn't feel any sense of urgency to get a job. So I spent a couple of months at home, casually applying to dream jobs before moving in with my girlfriend in Seattle.

My Review of "The Dead Don't Die"
The Dead Don't Die came quietly to theaters in 2019. I didn't hear anything about this movie before watching it. I just noticed it was a zombie comedy that starred Bill Murray and Adam Driver. It was available for streaming so I thought, how bad could it be? So I took the plunge and ended up a little confused at the end.

Stranger Things Season 1 - A Netflix Review
I wonder what peculiar event will happen in Hawkins today. The first season of Stranger Things aired in 2016. Season 1 revolves around the disappearance of young Will Byers. The town is in hysterics searching every inch for him. A group of young boys comes across a mysterious girl with superpowers. In the craziest week of everyone’s life, they discover a dangerous world.

My Review of "Ode to Joy"
Ode to Joy is an interesting premise to what I think was supposed to be a romantic comedy. I don't think I could categorize it as such because there wasn't really much comedy. Still it was an interesting concept that puts a twist to the genre.

My Review of "First Man"
First Man wasn't a movie that I thought I'd enjoy. Space exploration movies have done well in the past but I'm always late to check them out. All we know about Neil Armstrong is that he was the first man to walk on the moon. Surprisingly this movie isn't really about space exploration. It's about his journey to get to the moon.

Poseidon - A Movie Review
It’s almost midnight! I hope no tsunamis are going to flip the ship over tonight. Poseidon is a 2006 remake of the popular 70s film, The Poseidon Adventure. The passengers on the cruise Poseidon’s night is flipped over for the new year. Literally. A small group of survivors must make their way through the capsized ship to get to safety before it is too late.
