International Firm: Omar
Issues in Israel In the movie of Omar, a major problem that I saw was the huge Israeli-built boundary wall that separates the Palestinians and the Israelis. It is known as the Kalandia wall located in the West Bank of a Palestinian village. The wall puts up a border between the Palestinians and Israelis citizens representing strict restrictions. It makes things harder for family and loved ones to be able to connect and love each other. Also, with the wall that the Israeli government built, it restricts any movement that the Palestinians in the Israeli-occupied territories have.

My Review of "Tomb Raider"
Tomb Raider came out as a bit a surprise for me. I remember back in the day there were two Tomb Raider movies that starred Angelina Jolie. This is the remake starring Alicia Vikander. The mood and the atmosphere of the movie has changed dramatically since the old movies. I've never really played the Tomb Raider video games but I remember that this movie came out right around the time when they were revamping the Tomb Raider video game series as well.

‘The Umbrella Academy’ Season 1 Recap
In 1989, 43 children were born with superpowers, seven of which were adopted by a mysterious and unyielding billionaire named Reginald Hargreeves (Colm Feore). Raised by the strict and abusive Reginald and a kind caretaking robot named Grace (Jordan Robbins) and a dapper walking, talking primate named Pogo, the seven Hargreaves children are forged into a dysfunctional superhero team called The Umbrella Academy. Rather than call them by their names, Reginald assigned them numbers according to their perceived usefulness.

My Review of "Ip Man 4: The Finale"
Ip Man 4: The Finale is the final installment to the popular Ip Man series. I didn't have too many kind words for the Ip Man 3. I felt that it was a cash grab but had some pretty good action sequences. That's really what you're looking for in action movies anyways so I couldn't fault it for that. Ip Man 4 kind of goes back to the story element of the Ip Man series.

Review of 'Ghost Wood Song'
Ghost Wood Song Is such a haunting and spellbinding read. Erica Waters has imbued the novel with enough southern charm to keep the tone smooth. Moreover, she has also filled the novel with enough fantasy and magic to balance out the eerie atmospheric and contemporary feel the novel gives off. Ghost Wood Song is a thought-provoking and compelling because it has not only character development but exceptional story development.

My Review of "Ip Man 3"
Ip Man 3 is a movie that came out back in 2015. It's weird that I haven't seen it until 2020 because I remember loving the previous movies. I did however feel that it was a cash grab because the trailers featured Mike Tyson as Ip Man's main foe. So I didn't bother with this movie however I did see some clips of the fight scenes on YouTube and it did look pretty cool. Now that Ip Man 4 has come out I decided I might as well check it out so that I can watch the latest version afterwards.

Review of 'These Feathered Flames'
These Feathered Flames by Alexandra Overy is such an imaginative novel. As a retelling of the Russian folktale “The Firebird,” the novel has much fire to it, pun intended. The reader does not have to be familiar with the original folktale in order to appreciate this story.

Fire Over Acadia
I am a volunteer book reviewer for Olympia Publishers based in London, England. Reading novels from British authors is an opportunity for me to share books from other countries. It is fun reading these books to see how they write for I am and do have British relatives across the pond. The first British novel that I have read for Olympia Publishers is 'Fire Over Acadia' and there will be more. I will also, hopefully, be offering more book reviews from the online company that I also review for presently.

‘Yes, God, Yes’ is a Thoughtful and Often Hilarious Interrogation of Blind Faith
I grew up in a Catholic household, went to Catholic high school, and went to church every Sunday. So yes, Catholic guilt is coursing through my body every waking moment. Seriously, the amount of guilt I randomly feel while tending to everyday tasks probably isn’t okay, but that’s a conversation for another time (preferably a time when a therapist is around.) Needless to say, upon seeing Natalia Dyer’s Alice struggle with the most inoffensive of curiosities in Yes, God, Yes, I immediately felt a kinship with her.

My Review of "Hi Score Girl: Season One"
Hi Score Girl is very much like an Archie comic from what I remember back in the day. It even has all of the old comic book characters renamed but very reminiscent of the comic. I haven't seen an anime TV series in a long time and this kind of reminded me why I don't generally watch them that often. It's not my type of thing to watch but it was somewhat entertaining because I do love the 90s references that they talk about.
