Don't Bother to Knock - A Movie Review
Be sure that you know who is babysitting your children. They could be a psycho. Showing up to babysit in 1952, Don’t Bother to Knock is a thriller about an unbalanced woman hired to babysit for the evening. Catching the attention of a man across the way in the hotel, he walks into one of the most bizarre evenings of his life.

Y’all Seen Neil Breen’s ‘Twisted Pair’?
I like to think that the two best directors on the planet are Tommy Wiseau and Neil Breen. However, when it comes down to it, Neil Breen has the upper hand. He uses better special effects and has a more engaging plotline in most of his movies than Wiseau. The pinnacle of that expertise has got to be Twisted Pair.

My Review of "Transformers: War for Cybertron Season 1"
Transformers: War for Cybertron was announced not too long ago and when they did the excitement for the series was at an all time high. I guess you can say people are still excited about it but it really depends who you're talking to. I can tell this series plays out to pander to fans of the original TV series from the 80s and that's not a bad thing. The thing is, it's not necessarily a great thing either.

My Review of "An American Pickle
An American Pickle is a much needed new film to come out during this pandemic. It seems that there are so few movies and we're all looking for something new and luckily HBO has been listening. Although this isn't necessarily the most polished movie out there, I found that it had a few interesting themes.

Aladdin - A Movie Review
For my first wish, I want to take a ride on the flying carpet and see the world. Aladdin is a 1992 Animated Disney film about a poor boy living on the streets who falls in love with the princess. Aladdin is given an opportunity to make his dreams come true upon finding a magical lamp with a genie. Is lying worth it for love?

"Scythe" by Neal Shusterman
What would happen if death came knocking on your door? This is a question we have been asking for generations, and in Neal Shusterman's 2016 novel, Scythe, this query is addressed and - quite literally - brought to life. Now, this review is (for the most part,) spoiler-free, as it is just my initial thoughts and reaction. For a full, comprehensive review, check out my website, The Owl's Nest.

Gravitation by Maki Murakami
How I came across it? I've been into anime and manga since I was a child. In my teenage years, my manga passion exploded, and Gravitation was the first manga series that I really read and got into. Also one of the first I completed and read across all twelve volumes. Around the time I got into it in the early 2000s, Eiri and Shuichi were one of the most iconic couples at the time. It mixes dark character backstories with slapstick humour. It was the first media I consumed that honestly had LGBTQ+ characters and I was very hooked in the series.
