My Review of "Jexi"
Jexi is a Amazon Prime exclusive movie that came out back in 2019. The whole movie kind of reminded me of a comedic version of the movie Her that came out back in 2014. Ultimately these films are miles apart from one another but there are some similarities between the two that I couldn't deny.

Top 5 Favorite TV shows
5. Teen Wolf Description: The high-school anonymity Scott McCall was trying to break free from couldn't have happened in a more mysterious, complicated way. While walking in the woods one night Scott encounters a creature, is bitten in the side, and his life is forever changed. Is he a human or a werewolf? Or a little bit of both? Controlling the strange urges he now feels is the toughest part, and he's afraid the urges could end up controlling him. Will the bite be a gift or a curse, especially as it relates to the mischievous Allison, whom Scott can't get enough of?

My Review of "Holidate"
Holidate probably came out at the perfect time for Netflix. Halloween is upon us and that means a whole slew of holidays are coming up. Being quarantined a lot of us miss being with groups of people let alone being on horrible dates. I'm sure some of us wouldn't mind going on horrible dates at this point in time. This movie talks about the opposite.

Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors Review
Broadway may be closed until Summer 2021, but many of the writers and directors who work there have created several projects to keep Broadway fans entertained. Podcasters Broadway Podcast Network have released a variety of podcast miniseries in a radio serial format, including Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors. A four part comedy series (You can listen to each part separately, or the whole thing as an omnibus episode) released in May and available on most major podcast services, its lighter take on the Dracula story provides a Halloween option for those not keen on being too scared. Greg Greenberg and Steve Rosen wrote the script, with Greenberg directing. Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors began life as a play in 2018 and is available for licensing in that format. The cast for the podcast version includes of some of Broadway’s best and brightest, including Christopher Sieber (Shrek: The Musical, The Prom) James Monroe Iglehart (Aladdin: The Musical, Tangled: The Series), Alex Brightman (School of Rock, Beetlejuice: The Musical), Laura Benanti (Gypsy. My Fair Lady), Ashley Park (The King and I, Mean Girls) and Annaleigh Ashford (Sunday in the Park With George, Wicked) as well as Disney regulars Richard Kind (Inside Out) and Alan Tudyk (Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen), and sitcom icon John Stamos (Full House).

My Review of "Ma"
Ma came out in 2019 and it seemed like a very interesting movie. I unfortunately didn't get to see the movie until now. It turned out to be the movie that I kind of expected it was going to be. That's not necessarily a bad thing either. It's an interesting yet predictable movie that people can get behind. They added a few sprinkles of social commentary and made a pretty decent movie.

My Review of "Bram Stoker's Dracula"
Bram Stoker's Dracula is a visual marvel even to today's standards. There's a lot that they did in this movie that you just don't see in movies nowadays. The attention to detail and general art direction is fantastic. Still that shouldn't be the sole reason why you go watch this movie. You should go see it because you genuinely love vampire movies. It's got this old school feel that not everyone will appreciate.

Over The Moon: Netflix Original Movie Review
This was definitely one of my more random finds on Netflix this week. I had a very fulfilling weekend of rather intense and spine-chilling TV shows and movies, so I needed something more light-hearted to ease me back into the real world. That's when I came across "Over the Moon".

The Umbrella Acadamy: Season Two - TV Series Review
Here we are once again with an absolutely wonderful series of the six super-powered siblings. As it’s a second season I’m always fairly dubious as to how good it could be after the spectacular that was the first season. However, after seeing the trailer I was intrigued after seeing the 60s vibe that the show was going for. So, here is what I thought of season 2...

Cuties Review: 10/10 Wood Chippers
This may seem off topic, but I’ve been living in the South now for ten years. Northwest Florida to be exact, and also, just to clarify, it has been an awesome ten years. I was born in California (don’t hold that against me) but have lived all across this great nation of ours. I’ve experienced life on the beaches of Southern California, in the woods of Northern California and Oregon as well as the desert and mountains of Arizona. I know well the vastness of both the “Deliverancey” rural areas and the gang ridden big cities of our Midwestern states. While all these areas certainly had their cons, they all came with their pros as well. Still, no place has spoken to me quite like Northwest Florida, and to a certain extent Louisiana, where I vacation as often as possible. You can count on me to espouse the magnificence of Northwest FL fairly often, but I mention it here because of a joke many “natives” of the region have about me. You see, for the ten years I have lived here, our region hasn’t been hit by a single hurricane. There have been several that were heading towards us, but each and every time, the storm either switched directions or dissipated into something much weaker by the time it arrived in our neck of the woods. Locals began to wonder, jokingly and usually after all of our good material had been used up, was Caitlin some sort of good luck charm to ward off hurricanes? Just imagine, me, a Heaven-sent translesbian rain deflector. As an Englishman might say, “Not bloody likely!”, but then again, who knows! I’ve always had the philosophy, but especially in 2020, that I’ll believe anything is possible.

My Review of "Snatchers"
Snatchers came out quietly in 2019. I never heard of this movie until it started streaming recently. It's too bad because it's actually a half decent movie that I think would have done fairly well if it had more marketing. There's some interesting messages that come into play that they twisted to make a bit of a horror movie and you can tell they had a ton of fun doing it on the set.

What's the Matter with Helen? - A Movie Review
There has to be a reason why all this is happening. I cannot keep a secret any longer. What’s the Matter with Helen? is a 1971 mystery-thriller about two women who escape from their lives after their sons were convicted of murder. Believing that the past is behind them, someone is stalking them.
