My Review of "Pacific Rim"
Pacific Rim is a giant monster movie that came out back in 2013. Time really flies when you don't realize it. I remember seeing this movie back when it first came out and being floored by how much fun it was. I think this movie is the catalyst that pushed the resurgence of the giant monster movies.

My Review of "Don't Look Up"
Don't Look up is Netflix's newest 2021 blockbuster movie. It's hotly anticipated because of the amount of celebrities in this movie. However you'll notice all of the celebrities that have climbed on this project are all social activists. I had a sense of what I was getting myself into when I pressed play for this one.

Review of 'The Eye of the World'
The first in an epic fantasy, The Eye of the World, opens a new world for readers everywhere. Compelling Start I am shocked that I have never picked up the Wheel of Time series before now. Considering I lived in the fantasy section of the bookstore, plucking a book off the shelf and then sitting in the aisle to read, I am shocked that it never once occurred to me to pick up this series.

Wheel of Time Review
Now that season one has completed, I feel like it’s time to share my thoughts on Wheel of Time. Before I begin, I would like to point out that I have not read the books. Although, I don’t tend to worry about the differences even if I do read the book because I know there’s a lot that doesn’t translate well to film, or things in the book that don’t feel complete or fleshed out. Authors are human after all, and they do make mistakes. I also accept that film makers are artists themselves and want to make their adaptions their own. So, for these reasons, I don’t worry about changes.

Lucy Dearest. Top Story - December 2021.
Being the Ricardos Grade: A- The way that the action plays out in the film Being the Ricardos, written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, it seems like a remake. But biopics are rarely remakes. People just update the story from another perspective, or another viewpoint.

Don't Look Up - Movie Review
I watched the new Netflix movie on Christmas Day and it wouldn’t let me go. Everything in the movie alludes to the four years we survived with Trump and some of the allusions are indeed too fresh and too close to home. But something tells me that if Trump watched it he’d think that Meryl Streep is playing Hillary Clinton, not him, just because she is a woman president. Even the reference that the president’s son is her Chief of Staff (played by Jonah Hill with a clear allusion to Ivanka, especially with his improvisation of sexual tension between the mother and son) would go over his head because Trump has normalized it.

The Matrix Resurrections Movie Review
As one of the best sci-fi flicks of modern times, The Matrix thrilled audiences worldwide in 1999. With Reloaded and Revolutions shot and released back-to-back, the property quickly dropped out of the public eye. Some eighteen years after the trilogy ended, The Matrix Resurrections has arrived. Lana Wachowski’s latest production is a well crafted follow-up, but it’s unlikely to set the world on fire.

The Witcher Series Review (Season 2)
After years of high popularity, The Witcher franchise has crossed into multiple mediums over the last decade. The first season from Netflix brought the property to the small screen with some room for improvement; I’m happy to report the follow-up has taken on the criticisms and pushed forwards.
