My Review of "Batman & Robin"
Batman & Robin came out back in 1997. It is very much a late 90's blockbuster action movie of it's time. I tortured myself enough with the previous movie Batman Forever so I kind of knew what I was going to get myself into with this movie. This movie is identical in terms of tone and camp but focused more on what it wanted to do.

Classic Saddest Anime That Are Already Fresh As New.
Watching a profound, cry-instigating, miserable anime can be an extremely soothing encounter. Even when investigating on heavier topics, these animes frequently still leave a note of trust toward the finish of a watch. Some of the time, embracing the saddest pieces of life allows the most joyful parts to radiate through more splendid I have ever seen.

The Game
I was looking for a quick read that would keep me busy for a couple of days, and I decided to pull “The Game” off of the shelf. This short novel (perhaps novella?) by Linsey Miller was something that I scooped up the last time the local bookstore was having a sale. It looked like a quick, easy read, and it seemed to have all of the ingredients of a good story: mystery, intrigue, young love, adventure, drama–what more could you want? However, after turning the final page, I felt disappointed and a bit let down.

My Review of "Batman Forever"
Batman Forever came out back in 1995. It was a changing of the guards as a lot of the major players of the first two movies were out and in came some new blood. We still had our main characters but the actors and people behind the camera were all different. Watching this movie now, gives me some perspective as to what they were trying to go for. The problem is that it didn't really work.

My Review of "Studio 666"
Studio 666 entered into theatres very quietly in 2022. I was meaning to watch it a while back because I love Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny. This is definitely nothing like that movie. The trailer had the same vibes so that's what peaked my interest.

My Review of "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope"
Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope came out back in 1977. I watched this movie when I was a little kid and frankly I didn't know what was going on back then. Later on as a teenager I loved this movie as I could grasp the concepts that were happening in the movie. Then into adulthood I still liked this movie but does this movie hold up today for me?

My Review of "Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio"
Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio has recently come out exclusively streaming on Netflix. There's a lot of controversy about this movie but then again anything reimagined by Guillermo del Toro is going to get some sort of buzz. He has an eye for the macabre and this little film is no stranger to that fact.
