Times Disney Made Me Really Think
The films of Disney and Pixar are the foundations of many childhoods around the world, especially mine. Beautifully imagined and carefully written, they are able to capture imaginations and immerce children into magical worlds and instil the belief that anything is possible. Though they also manage to have deeper meanings to us now as adults and make us think; 'Wow, the feels!'

Game of Thrones
So we all know that season 8 of Game of Thrones sucked but some people (Stark fans) boil the fan revolt down to Dany fans being bitter. Just to be clear I am bitter but that doesn’t change the fact that the rest of the characters and story went through some serious assassination.

My Review of "Bad Batch: Season 2"
Bad Batch: Season 2 has recently finished up in 2023 and it definitely had its ups and downs. There is a bit of a departure from the stellar first season. At times I had to remind myself this is a children's TV show to make myself understand why they went into certain directions with the show. That's not to say it didn't have its great moments either.

Leaning Towards Life
The Barbarian Invasions: A+ Synecdoche, New York: I Roger Ebert died at the age of 70 in 2013. In the previous decade, he named Charlie Kaufman’s Synecdoche, New York (2008) as the finest film of the decade. With his trademarked two thumbs up, he announced to the world that death was better than life. But he noted The Barbarian Invasions (2003) as a four star picture, just like the Kaufman film. He didn’t deem the Invasions film worthy of being the best because he, at the end, did not prize life. He, in his book Life Itself and the documentary based on it, shows how life is precious, and true, and right and good. It just didn’t seem that way with his selection of Synecdoche as his choice for best movie of the aughts.
