The Thrill, Horror, & Suspense
Truthfully up until last year (and I'm 27) I had never once read a Stephen King book, or watched any of the movies. I know that sounds unreal, his works are iconic and he definitely is an established author to the point of making a name for himself. But growing up in a fairly religious household, my parents did not find it appropriate to have me reading what they considered to be controversial topics and conversations. That being said, this was defintiely the perfect opportunity to discover a whole new relm of reading as an adult and it absolutely thrilled me.

Book Review: "My First Wife" by Jakob Wassermann
“My First Wife” by Jakob Wassermann is a novel about a man who marries a woman after falling in love with the idea of her, her presentation etc. only to find out that she is entirely different in reality. This is something that I think people experience often and, in reality, it can lead to people just flat out hating each other. Jakob Wassermann expresses this as a very real problem for the protagonist and yet, there is nothing really wrong with the woman he is in love with - it is the idea of her which is simply very different to the reality of her. When you really think about it, both of them seem like they married for a reason that was not really loving each other but the protagonist marries for the fact that he likes the idea of the woman and the woman (Ganna) marries for the fact that she likes the idea of marriage. Both of them are completely dissatisfied since Ganna still wants her chaotic life to go ahead, but then again the idea of her that the protagonist had in mind was a mild-mannered wife-like woman who was both shy and intelligent. In reality, her life is in fact, very different. Besides this incredible storyline, the book is told in snippets and anecdotes that represent situations and times in the romantic relationship and during the marriage. The writing style, though sometimes tedious and a little repetitive, is actually pretty telling in some places about the difference between expectation and reality.

Book Review: "Therese Desqueyroux" by Francois Mauriac
“Therese Desqueyroux” was a very strange book because I had felt like I had read similar storylines in the works of Virginia Woolf and other authors of that liking. But, in this case there was darkness looming beneath it. When Therese Desqueyroux fails to poison her husband, she is acquitted of attempted murder and goes free into the world without him. Believing at first that she was the one who did wrong, she looks back on her life with him as the abusive, oppressive overlord and observes the jail that we call marriage as now, a free woman. Only then does she learn to see the world in an increasingly new way. The story is both a celebration of a woman’s freedom and a journey of self-discovery - it wanders and loops in on itself and Therese is there for the ride in its ups and downs. The dark aspect of the story is constantly there and looming - the fact that she tried to kill him. But as you learn more and more about him through her, it becomes apparent that you are no longer angry that she tried, but angry that she did not succeed. It is written in an amazing way with these grotesque images pouring through grand descriptions of France and its cultural landscape, littered with everything that is poetic and beautiful. An excess makes it look almost naturalistically decadent in all the wrong ways.

How to Find the Most Popular anime Of Today
According to several sources, 4Anime is merely a site which offers anime streaming to authorized users around the globe. But there are so many complaints going round this site for piracy reasons. There is even a membership fee which is reportedly supposed to protect anime downloading from being pirated. Anime pirates use several methods to pirate anime films and episodes, such as copying the media into other media and transferring it through peer-to-peer file sharing systems.

Demon Slayer: What Are the Reasons for the Success of the Series?
The anime world in recent years has seen the arrival of great shows such as My Hero Academia that are expected to surpass Shonen super hits like Naruto and Bleach. However, a show that just made its debut last year took the anime industry by surprise. No one was expecting that Demon Slayer will go on to become the best anime of the year. As if that was not enough, the Demon Slayer movie released this year even surpassed Tenet in overseas box office collection just a few days ago. Demon Slayer: Infinity Train has become the fastest film to make over $100million in Japanese film history.
