Gorilla Grodd
This was an interesting build cause there isn't a playable race for a gorilla. So I went to Pinterest and found Beast folk it was perfect so I want to thank /u/coolgamertagbro for making it. So to start you get a +2 and a +1 in any ability score, Wild and Free: advantage on saving throws against being charmed. Speed: 30 feet. You get to pick 2 abilities from a list. The two I picked up were. Adept Climber: Proficiency in Athletics and a 30’ climbing speed. Jumper: Proficiency in Acrobatics and jump distance is doubled. Languages are common and beast speech. I went with the Criminal Background so I can get the proficiencies in Deception, Stealth and Thieves tools.

Breaking the (Autistic) Code: Rachel from A Simple Date (2021)
Disclaimer: I am not a licensed medical professional and this series is not about diagnosing the character(s) with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This series is a personal examination of the film/TV show's plot, the character's traits and personality and how they relate to me as an Autistic woman. I will also examine canonically Autistic Characters, so take my personal opinions as just that, a personal opinion. I would encourage my readers to seek out different perspectives on disability representation especially from BIPOC disabled creators who are often ignored in the disability discourse. Also some of the topics I will discuss might be triggering so please take care of your mental health when reading. I will also try to avoid giving away any spoilers for those who have not seen the film/TV show but if I have to give context for my arguments, this will be a likely occurrence so please be forewarned.

NEWSFLASH: Han was in love with Luke the WHOLE time
In the year 1977, media lovers were given what turned out to be several classics in various formats. Stephen King’s third novel; ‘The Shining’ began the year in January and went on to become one of the most popular horror tales. Sing/Songwriter Billy Joel came out with his fifth studio album, ‘The Stranger’, which would later receive the ‘Diamond’ certification after selling over ten million units. The biggest thing to hit the film screen that year was a ‘little-known’ movie entitled; ‘Star Wars’, the Sci-Fi Western story which took everyone by surprise. It’s difficult to condense the journey from ‘A New Hope’s unprecedented success to the three film trilogies, spin-off movies & several TV shows which make up what is now a franchise. The intense popularity of ‘Star Wars’ could be credited to the characters who made the Sci-Fi landscape surprisingly relatable. Luke Skywalker resonated with so many people as he is perhaps the purest hero who in any other film, at that time, might’ve been the sidekick. Princess Leia Organa was a leading character who was never forced to the side-lines & Han Solo, though very cool, never had any idea what he was doing. As an audience absorbing these fantastical adventures, it is only natural that we make these character connections, interpret them as we see fit, and express them creatively. A particularly creative outlet that ‘Star Wars’ fans took to, what we now refer to as ‘Fan-fiction’, began as early as the 70’s/80’s in the pages of Fanzines. However, those ‘controversial’ pairings had to circulate privately. What was so ‘controversial?’ That would be the romantic interpretation of Han Solo & Luke Skywalker which will be discussed in this article.

Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response or ASMR videos are a part of the Zeitgeist of the 2020’s.
I was scrolling through TikToks as a “Gen X '' person does and I came across an ASMR video by Trisha Paytas. I seldom watched ASMR videos before Paytas’ Tiktok because honestly, I didn’t understand the hype. However, I was instantly raptured in a state of tranquility. ASMR content creators speak in a soft, hushed tone and say pleasant words to help viewers fall asleep, reduce anxiety, or simply relax.

Olivia De Havilland and the Breaking of the Studio System of Indentured Servitude
Clarke Gable made a Golden Age of Hollywood career as a tough guy in a t-shirt. His carefully cultivated masculine aggressiveness on display to slap around everyone from Vivian Leigh to Joan Crawford, he reaped the rewards all the way down the boulevard. On the other hand, being typecast was a fact of life that even the biggest stars had to resign themselves to. "I have never been consulted as to what part I would like to play. I am not paid to think,” he once bitterly told Photoplay. On the other hand, did we really want to see “the King” weeping like Nick Nolte in Prince of Tides? Maybe but either way, this was the studio system, and it took two courageous actresses to actually hang a pair or two on the system of slavery that kept stars in both a professional and personal box during the studio era.

Merlin
Perhaps it is a sign of fate that I saw the latest episode of the Merlin television series the day after the release of my Axis Mundi. Of course, when I started following the first season of this long outdated production — broadcast on BBC One from 2008 to 2012 — I never thought I’d spend a few words on it. Instead, perhaps because of the affection for the characters, or because of the change and evolution from season to season, now I leave Arthur and Merlin with regret and with a lump in my throat.

Escaping the "Cult" of Mars
I'm sure by now you've seen a lot of things floating around social media regarding actor Jared Leto. After all, his long-awaited Marvel film Morbius is finally hitting theaters after two years of pandemic delays. With that, as always, comes a lot of conversation about his method acting behavior, his odd behavior, his band, and his cult.

Will Smith punches Chris Rock on Oscars 2022 stage
At 94th Academy Awards that consistently kept a light soul was shaken by an amazing trade after Will Smith took more time to a joke made by Chris Rock about his better half, Jada Pinkett Smith. After Rock kidded to Smith that he was anticipating a spin-off of "G.I. Jane," Smith stood up from his seat close to the stage, stepped up to Rock and slapped him. In the wake of sitting down, Smith yelled at Rock to "keep my better half's name out of your (interjection) mouth."
