The 'She-Hulk' Finale's Retro Introduction Is Actually An Easter Egg Linking Back To The Character's Origins
Throughout the series, She-Hulk: Attorney-At-Law was not afraid to go against the norm, making fun of itself, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole. This is especially true in the show's first season finale, during which Jennifer Walters smashes the fourth wall and escapes into Marvel Studios in search of a better ending.

Parental Relationships in House of the Dragon
One of the most intriguing aspects of both Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon are the familial relationships. So I thought I would analyze and give commentary on each of those relationships. Now it is important to note that this is strictly based off of the HBO adaptation and has absolutely nothing to do with the book whatsoever.

Alicent and Rhaenyra's Friendship
House of the Dragon has kept audiences captivated for weeks, and though it deviates from the books fans seem to be enjoying the story. However one of the major changes made from the books was deliberate and opened up the story to more flaws than necessary. In the show they made the choice to age Alicent down so that she was the same age as Rhaenyra. They also attempted to establish that these two girls were best friends, as Alicent’s dad was hand to the king the transition seemed natural. But then the writers seemed to forget that they had established these two young women as having a close relationship. In fact they didn’t seem to put any thought into how female friendships work at all.

Never watched Doctor Who?
Back during the wait between series 9 and 10 of Doctor Who I put together a list of episodes that would be worth a watch for new viewers curious of whether to watch the show. I set some rules - it had to be a single episode per series, the story mustn't be part of an important story arc and the episodes must broadly cover the tonal range of Doctor Who, but they didn't necessarily need to be the best episode from the series. I inevitably failed the second point so I think that it's time to take another look at the list, improve it and update for the last four series in the run up to Russel T Davies' second tenure as showrunner.

Optimus Prime A Time Machine to My Childhood: New Toy Robot Sparks Nostalgia
Toys have changed quite a bit since I was a kid back in the 1980s. Growing up, I thought I had the most amazing toys in the world. I had every Smurf, EVERY SMURF. I had every Smurf related toy, plushes, games, trading cards, if the Smurfs were on it, my 5 year old self had to have it. Luckily, when I was a small child and the economy was very different, my parents had a lot of money and thus I had most, if not all, of the toys.

'House Of The Dragon': Why Rhaenys Chose Not To Kill The Greens
WARNING! SPOILERS for House of the Dragon 1x09, 'The Green Council'. War is coming. In the penultimate episode of House of the Dragon's first season, we learn that King Viserys has finally succumbed to the flesh-eating disease he has been battling for most of the series, and tragically, a misunderstanding of Viserys's final words has left his wife, Alicent, believing he wants their son Aegon to succede him, rather than his oldest daughter, and Alicent's childhood friend, Princess Rhaenyra. This is music to the ears of Alicent's Father Otto, who had been secretly planning to crown Aegon anyway, regardless of the late King's wishes.

Renaissance Festival Garb/Attire/Costume/Ensemble: Assemble!
Before adopting the moniker/pen name of Tinka Boudit, I was a ten year attendee of the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. I go in garb. I shop, see shows, I made friends with cast members, vendors, and other attendees. I go every weekend for seven weekends. Even after attending the festival since 2006, I still find new things to experience every year. Those of us who do this are known as 'playtrons'. As in we play along, but we are patrons who pay the ticket fee to be there; we do not work there. I've also volunteered my time in a booth for three other seasons. I officially joined the cast in 2019.
