Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes Movie Review
Throughout the 2010s, the rebooted Planet of the Apes series stood as one of the best modern trilogies in recent memory. Six years later the series has returned without Andy Serkis in the lead. Can it push on with a different focus and tone? Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes knows exactly where to take things; the result is another solid production.

Sex and the City
The third season ends with all of the ladies single. I think that is really when the show is at its best. The girls show up for each other more when they aren’t centering the men in their lives. And often when they get out of long term or serious relationships it's because they are demonstrating what it means to be a strong woman. They are looking out for themselves or their friends and they don’t let love or affection get in the way of that. They obviously referring to all the other women, not Carrie. Carrie would throw all her friends off a cliff for Big and it's pathetic.

Everybody Loves Miranda
Aside from Carrie, Miranda is probably the most flawed of the Sex and the City women. And thus she is one of my favorites. She is the character I probably identify with the most. She is strong, powerful, independent and she works very hard to be a woman in a man’s world as she is a lawyer. That said, her aggressive feminism is sometimes a step too far and she ends up pushing the men she cares about her away.

Sex and the City
Sex and the City is one of the most iconic shows to come out of the late 90s-early 2000s for so many reasons. But I think one of the things that most of the fans can agree on is how much Carrie Bradshaw sucks. If you don’t agree then perhaps you should rethink your own personal actions and personality because there is no way to experience her character without anger. Let’s go ahead and discuss why.

Sex and the City
We can all agree that the best part of Sex and the City is all of the other girls that aren’t Carrie. My personal favorite is Samantha (also the top of the list through a fully objective analysis) and so we are going to talk about all the reasons why she is the best of the group. Not just the best woman but the best friend. She is strong, confident and she owns her own PR firm, that is badass.

Mad Max Fury Road
Okay so this review might seem a little outdated, but as someone who hasn’t seen any Mad Max movies I thought that ahead of seeing the newest film I should watch what most consider to be the best one. Now I normally hate action movies, I find most of them have no real plot and I am not as enthralled with the sight of explosions as most people seem to be. On top of that, action movies tend to portray women quite poorly and I will never overlook that. All that said, this film comes highly endorsed by my husband so we finally watched Mad Max Fury Road. So here we go….

Pro Wrestling is Cyclical
Professional Wrestling is cyclical. It will have periods in which it is worth watching and others in which it isn’t. Triple H has done a much better job than I thought he would as a boss. Cody vs Roman this past Wrestlemania was amazing. The lead-up was amazing. The Rock went from beloved WWE superstar to psychotic Heel.

Ghostbusters Turns Forty!
June 8th, 1984, started it all... The summer of 1984 was a very traumatic time for me and the family. My father had died in December of 1983, and my mother was determined to enjoy her life and try to create as normal a world for me as she could. There would be trips to family and friends in New York and California, an attempt to get me interested in judo (no comment) and a move to a new home not too far from my old neighbourhood, but clearly a bigger and fresher space for all of us. And, then there were the movies...
