MCU Rewatch
We are into phase 2 for our MCU rewatch and thus we have watched Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World. These are regarded as two of the worst films in the MCU so we are going to talk about them. Are they really that bad? Or was the first impression so terrible that simply no one has gone back to check in the last decade. Well we had to and the overall result is that these movies are, in fact, not great. But why? And how could we have fallen so far from the quality that was phase 1?

Most Bingeable Shows
Binge watching is a relatively new term that came to society with the rise of streaming services. Not that the action of binge watching didn’t exist before, but now we have a name for it. So here we go, we are going to talk about the best shows to Binge watch. Now I think my personal criteria for this is going to be; shows with 5 seasons or less. I find binge watching shows longer than that a little intimidating and I tend to lose interest a little quicker. That said we still want a decent amount of episodes so nothing under 8 episodes a season because at that point, why do it? I hate getting super interested in something and not having enough of it. And last but not least we need something that is consistent. I don’t want to invest 100 hours of my life into something that ends up sucking.

In Defense of Daemon Targaryen
So there is a lot of discourse online about House of the Dragon, blacks vs greens, who the real bad guys are, blah blah blah. However the person I am going to ride or die for today is Daemon Targaryen. A lot of people (mostly delusional greens) want so desperately to make him a villain and today I will be refuting that. It is very clear that the show's creators want the audience to hate Daemon, that said if that is really what they wanted they shouldn’t have cast Matt Smith. George R.R. Martin himself said that Daemon is a gray character at best, he’s complicated and he is his favorite character. But a lot of the changes from the book were made in that effort. For in the book Daemon is not a bad guy, and quite frankly he isn’t in the show either.

House of the Dragon
When House of the Dragon first aired I had not read the book it was based on. I have since done that and now we are going to do a little compare and contrast. As it was said during the airing of the first season that the production of the show was very….creative with its use of the source material. Now the first season actually didn’t cover very much as it was all set up. But we are going to go through the things that the show omitted and probably should have included, and the things that they just fully changed for whatever reason. I will not be going over all the things they adapted well, though overall it wasn’t bad. The problem is that the things that they changed are so fundamental that it truly affects the whole story.
