What's Next for the MCU After 'Infinity War?'
MAJOR SPOILERS FOR AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR AVENGERS 4, AND SPOILERS FOR THE MCU IN GENERAL! Avengers: Infinity War is the culmination of ten years of Marvel's cinematic universe which started all the way back in 2008 with Iron Man. The character of Thanos was first teased back in 2012 with the release of the original Avengers movie so Marvel and the directors of Infinity War, Joe and Anthony Russo, knew they had some big shoes to fill in terms of making a villain who had been teased for six years feel complex and like a genuine threat, something the MCU has struggled with in the past. If you've seen the movie, then you'll know that Thanos is undoubtedly one of, if not the best villain Marvel has brought to the big screen, with him collecting all six infinity stones and wiping out half of the universe by the end of the film. So, in this article, I will try to predict what we can expect from the MCU going forward as well as some things I would personally like to see happen in future movies, most notably Avengers 4.

'Never Let Me Go': The Cloning of Humanity
The first time I had ever heard of the film Never Let Me Go it was sometime around 2011 or 2012. I was searching for something to watch on Netflix and I had come across it. I was once told by a friend that it was so incredibly sad that she had to stop watching it. I took on the challenge to see if I could get through it, despite it being described as disturbing and sad.

What's Next for the Man of Steel?
Ok, so if you're a diehard DCEU fan like me (meaning you like MOS and BvS and not only WonderWoman), there's a good chance that you weren't blown away by Justice League. Yes, the film accomplished what it set out to do, namely unite the core members of the league and also bring Superman back from the grave to join his costumed cohorts in time to save the world. I enjoyed the film for what it was (a straight-forward superhero action film), but I still find myself feeling shortchanged by the thought of what this team up of DC's greatest heroes should've been: an epic cinematic masterpiece. The film's weak box office performance is proof that studios need to let their directors make the films they set out to make rather than forcing them to readjust their films in a desperate attempt to mimic another, massively popular comic book film universe (which shall remain nameless).

Ranking the Movies of 2018: Week 18
As much as I like to write about film language, I occasionally can just not pay attention to it and just enjoy some jokes. The film language of Life of the Party is, admittedly, rather pathetic. Director and co-writer Ben Falcone is not a visual stylist. He’s barely able to make one scene transition comfortably from one to the next. So why don’t I hate it? Well, let’s go through the reasons why I probably should and then see if I can explain it.

The Billion Dollar Blockbusters
Much has been written about the global success of the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Avengers: Infinity War has been in cinemas for three weeks and has already amassed a mighty $1.6 billion at the global box office. It comes hot on the heels of ten billion dollar blockbusters in three years. So what is driving these films to such lofty heights?

‘Deadpool 2’ and Why It Feels so Familiar
Deadpool 2 is out and it is already receiving mixed reactions. The first film was a surprise runaway success, but that’s because the film was highly anticipated and, for the most part, director Tim Miller and his team of writers, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, understood the pulse of the character and his fans.

I Went to the Movie Theater Every Day for 25 Days
No, you didn't read the title wrong, I actually left my house EVERY DAY just to go to the movies. I wanted to speak on the industry that I once held so dearly, and actually live with 25 days of the "movie-going experience". I have a passionate love for movies but in recent months I never went to the theater. It wasn't the films that were keeping me from going, it was the prices, Netflix, and comfort. I didn't intentionally start this experience, although I'm not sure who would. I just found myself going to the movies three days in a row and thought for some very strange reason that I should try and do this every day for as long as I could. *If you're just here for reviews keep scrolling.*

9 Movies to Look out for This Summer
After the tremendous success of Infinity War, summer is about to officially kick off with this week's Deadpool 2, followed by Solo: A Star Wars Story the week after, then Ocean's 8, Incredibles 2, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Ant-Man and The Wasp, Skyscraper, Mission Impossible: Fallout, andThe Megin the upcoming months. With very few stinkers in sight, it should be a solid summer with plenty of box office hits that will give the film industry a nice boost. However, there are some movies that might slip under the casual moviegoers' radar—some that might be deserving of that sweet blockbuster revenue, even if the movies themselves aren't what one would call blockbusters.
