Could James Bond Be Black?
Also works with racist tweets. In case you live under a rock — or more exactly, under a rock lost at the bottom of an uncharted cave in a galaxy far far away — yes, there is a debate on whether or not James Bond could be played by a black actor, namely: Idris Elba. People are at each other's throats on Twitter every time the subject comes up; on the right side, the “non-racists” who want a Black James Bond — because… well, why not?—and on the wrong side, the “He is a cultural figure that can’t be changed” team. It almost feels like there’s a war coming and I’m the only one who can stop it, using my top-notch Adaptation Theory knowledge and my license to write… ha ha. Lame.

'Finding Forrester' (2001): Discovering Wallace
Sixteen-year-old Jamal Wallace (Rob Brown) has grown up in the Bronx, New York. While playing basketball with his buddies, he is dared to sneak into the apartment of a recluse, William Forrester (Sean Connery), who is rumored to have committed murder. After accidentally leaving his backpack in the man's house, Jamal finds his life entangled with that of this mysterious man who turns out to be a writer. One of the major themes in the movie Finding Forrester is the importance of friendship. Jamal and William become great friends, and they inspire each other through their writings. Aside from strong language, and some crude humor, Finding Forrester has a realistic setting, good music, and captivating conflict.

Part II: With Few Words, Scenes that Say Plenty
Second Installment of Scenes with Few Words 'Star Trek : The Motion Picture'… Enterprise Flyby My friends we’ve come home. Ten years in the wilderness, Robert Wise knew we needed and deserved more than a passing glance of the Enterprise. The silence running for a full four minutes and 48 seconds, there was no way that dry dock was going to allow us to embark without our eyes turning into a watery mess. Characteristically, Jim Kirk gave us the strength as the ole NCC emerges in the distance over his proud and wondrous glare.

Classic Movie Review: 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade'
This movie is exhausting. Get ready because this review is going to get rather blasphemous for fans of the famed texts known as Indiana Jones. First let me say, I don’t think that Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is a ‘bad movie.’ However, after 30 years, my patience, like my nostalgia, has waned and the film’s flaws have come to the fore for me. Rather than the giddy thrill I felt as a 13 year old, 43-year-old me tired quickly of Steven Spielberg’s rushed narrative and repeated set pieces and tropes.

Aliens Aliens was the sequel to the 1979 hit movie Alien. Sigourney Weaver reprised her role as Ellen Ripley. This time, a crew will help her seek out and destroy the aliens that wreaked so much havoc in the previous film. Aliens was more of an action film and is a stark contrast to the horror-type feel of the first movie.

The 2000s Movie Project: 'The Whole Nine Yards'
The latest entry in the 2000s Project, in which we are analyzing the film trends and topics of this young century, is among the first big comedy hits of the 2000s, The Whole Nine Yards. Released on February 18, 2000, the film grossed more than $100 million dollars on an admittedly steep $41 million dollar budget, most of which went to pay for Bruce Willis’s smirk and silly hat budget.

3 Things I Hope to See in the Next Installments of 'Detective Pikachu'
Minor spoilers ahead, so stop reading if you haven't seen the movie yet and want to go in not knowing a thing. Okay now we're here, let's talk about the flick. I loved the movie despite critics saying it was average. Maybe the nostalgia got to me. Or maybe I just loved seeing the Pokemon universe done right. At least so far. Let's hope for consistency and even better stories told with the next films coming. I didn't complain at any of the 3D designs and the cast was great as well, but this article isn't a review. You clicked to know what I hope to see in the next installments. I have a few ideas where they can go. That I hope they'll use in the future and here they are.
