First, Opportunity
If the first movie, Danny Boyle's 1996 film based on Irvine Welsh's novel of the same name, has an iconic phrase, it's "Choose Life." If it's 2016 sequel has anything to the same effect, it is the often repeated "First an opportunity, then betrayal." That accurately summarizes the pattern of many iconic movies and their forced sequels- one of stars turned into money grab series. Despite my desire to give this article a cliched, quoted title, in this case it would be misleading. I can't associate the world betrayal with a review of this film because it's a flawless continuation.

Modern Times (1936) Review
Modern Times (1936), is an American comedy feature film written and directed by Charlie Chaplin. It was written at a time in which “the talkies” were becoming increasingly popular and was Chaplin’s last ‘silent’ film, although there is limited dialogue (I’m unsure if it was in the original but, given the time it was produced, I could imagine it being part of the film – I think it could’ve worked without but it did add to the characters).

Updated Report on Production Restart For 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,' 'Hawkeye,' and 'Loki'
Can you hear that sound, my fellow slates of culture? Yes, it is indeed an update on one of our favorite high-grossing franchises, which is aptly named the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Unfortunately, this time around, it is some slightly dour news, as reports of three productions have been halted due to the unavoidable news that is the current pandemic. With the famous "Infinity Saga" bringing about the story arc end **SPOILERS** of both Iron Man and Captain America, we the audience were going to be treated with Black Widow, but it was pushed back to November. Playing a pseudo domino effect on the franchise as it were, this has resulted in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, and Loki all to being delayed.

Release Date Has Not Changed For 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,' Says James Gunn
This year has seen the delay of many films thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is best to be safe, but many people have been wondering when they may see all of the movies that they have been anticipating. It may be a while for things to return to how they were, but people cannot help but speculate. Movies are a form of escapism, and lots of people crave escapism during a crisis.

Movie Review: 'Max Reload and the Nether Blasters' is Charming Low Budget Fun
Max Reload and the Nether Blasters is a whole lot of fun. This silly little gamer comedy is just the right mix of goofy characters and familiar teen movie tropes. There’s nothing wrong with a little familiarity and nostalgia if you do it well and the directing duo of Scott Conditt Jeremy Tremp do it quite well. They’ve managed to keep a familiar story about a kid learning to be a team player fresh with good jokes and funny supporting performances.
