Movie Review: 'On the Count of Three' is a Terrific Directorial Debut for Jerrod Carmichael
Mental health experts will tell you that suicidal people will seem happier right before they take their life. It doesn’t always happen that way, but in most cases euphoria sets in once death is certain. The dark dramatic comedy, On the Count of Three, from star and director Jerrod Carmichael, pictures suicide from a different perspective. On the Count of Three is a suicide comedy, a dark comedy, of course, and it captures the kind of feelings mental health experts see in suicidal patients.

Avatar 2 Will Save Theaters
Movie theaters are closing down, ticket prices are skyrocketing, the price of popcorn is staggering, streaming services are dominating the competition, and piracy is never-ending. All this can be defined as a crisis in movie theaters.

Top Gun: The Lost Pilot. Top Story - May 2022.
Who doesn’t want to be Maverick? In Tony Scott’s Top Gun Pete Mitchell was the epitome of the glorious warrior, as skilled as he was wild. Who doesn’t want to question authority, live beyond the rules, fly too close to the Sun? That’s the catch of course: Maverick is also Icarus, Maverick is Achilles, the hero felled by his own flaw — though it’s his best friend, Goose, who falls from the sky. Cruise, it’s worth noting, has wondered whether a contemporary studio would tolerate Goose’s death, if the movie were made today. “Can you imagine? Today, you’d have a hard time killing Goose,” he has said. “There would be a lot of discussion about killing Goose. You’d go to test screenings, and they would tell us, ‘They hate it when Goose dies! He’s such a likeable character! You’ve got to cut that out of the movie.’”

The Talented Mr. Ripley
"The Talented Mr. Ripley" is a chilling, Hitchcockian portrait of a psychopath and his victims. A colossal clash between Ripley, the aforementioned psychopath protagonist, and young Greenleaf, a superb narcissist, is at the heart of this masterwork, set in the gorgeously decadent scapes of Italy.

Doctor Strange in The Multiverse Of Madness
Open letter to Kevin Feige. Next time, please let Sam Raimi off your leash. After creative difference between original director Scott Derrickson and Marvel’s producer Kevin Feige. Sam Raimi was brought in to helm the new mind-bending film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This change in director was indeed perfect, with Sam Raimi’s extension experiences in both horror and superhero genre, with The Evil Dead and Spider-Man series. This sequel has some few great visuals, action, humor, acting, and musical score, although the story felt rushed, uneven paced, and maybe messing a few plots point.

Uncharted
The other day, I patched up Land of the Forsaken and The Lost City of Z. See three spiders in the same frame, three bats in the same frame, better to see bat spiders in the same frame. Of course, in The Lost City of Z, the two only co-starred, not together.
