60 Days, 60 Movies: Countdown to Halloween- Part 1
We're 60 days (from September 1st) away from Halloween, and my excitement merely grows- like a fungus. Of course, one of the most common ways to get in the spirit of Spooky Season is to watch some movies that emulate the spirit of the season right? Purple Hearts
When Netflix hypes a film, you just gotta watch it - Right? Everyone has been raving about this movie. I finally see what the hype was about. Purple Hearts is one of Netflix's unexpected success stories considering its relatively unknown cast and comparatively low budget. Spending 27 days on the top 10 list with total viewing hours of over 200 million, it seems to be one gamble that has paid off for the streaming giant.

The film review of Detachment
"Don't... Don't let anyone in, I don't want to be disturbed, please get out of here thank you, "says a gaunt, bearded man with empty, sad eyes at the beginning of the film, Henry Bathers, the film's leading man. If I have to say which movie has touched me the most in recent years, I think it should be only this one. He does not have the warm and touching style of Hachiko, nor the tragic and stirring love like Titanic. His charm makes me unable to describe it briefly, or even interpret the feeling. It is realistic like a mirror, through which we can even reflect on ourselves.
