interview
Interviews with a top geek advocate, celebrity, and icon about their current and past geek projects.
Actor's Life. Top Story - June 2018.
If you have seen the hit TV show, Claws, you might know Andrea Sooch. She plays Riva, a crime boss for the Russian Mob. She has also guest starred on Law & Order, Taxi Brooklyn, Gotham, Boardwalk Empire, Broad City, and The Blacklist. In addition to being an actor, she is also a Drama Therapist and is the co-creator of the ACTing Cure Group Model. In fact, I interned with her at AHRC, an organization that helps adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, where she used tools of drama therapy and positive interventions to maximize potentials in a therapeutic recreational setting, and to help people flourish.

Interview with Chris Pardal, Star of 'Corbin Nash'
Chris Pardal, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, first launched his career in the arts as a dancer, performing in nightclubs and various hip-hop groups. His talent for dance was quickly recognized, and he was invited to join the dance departments of the University of South Florida and St. Petersburg College. It was during his university days that he encountered the drama department, through which he eventually came to acting and writing. The rest, as they say, is history.

'iZombie' Writer Bob Dearden on What It's Like to Write for the Hit Show and What We Can Expect From Season 4
Jason Schwartz: First things first, how did you get started writing for iZombie? Bob Dearden: Well, if you want to go back to before the beginning, I had a very different first career as a silviculture supervisor in the Canadian forest industry. I’d had a desire to go to film school after my undergrad studies, but had back-burnered that idea more and more as I got deeper into the forestry job. Eventually, I got to a point where I knew if I didn’t give something else a shot, it was going to be forestry for life. Which would’ve been fine, but I still had that lingering dream to work in film or TV, and wanted to take a crack at it. So I went back to school, enrolling in the MFA Screenwriting program at UT Austin.

However, she envisioned her journey on a more ambiguous plane. “I wanted to come here to tell stories,” said the Ohio born native. Interview: Lady Bird Star Saoirse Ronan
This interview originally aired on WKAI FM Macomb, IL. Actress Saoirse Ronan is among the frontrunners to win Best Actress at the Academy Awards for her performance in Lady Bird. Written and directed by Greta Gerwig, Lady Bird stars Ronan as an iconoclastic teenage girl who clashes with her straight-laced mother, played by Laurie Metcalf, while trying to figure out who she is and what she wants to do with her life. Ronan’s performance is remarkable in the way she transforms from a 24-year-old Irish woman into a 17-year-old from Sacramento with flawless detail.

Right in the Feels! ~ #3 Things You Should Know About Tisha Eaton
So being new to the site, I have already met a few people who I have gotten to know and have been enjoying talking to, both in the group and through messaging on Facebook. One such person is John Carter, who so graciously decided to give me my first "interview" to let you have a little insight into who I am, and some of the stories that have shaped me into the woman that I am today. Without further ado, here are my answers to questions that he thought would be good to ask (and since they hit close to home, I apologize in advance for the length)

Scooby-Doo, Gene Simmons & Nostalgia OH MY! - An Interview with Kevin Shinick
I grew up in the late 80s & early 90s. My childhood was overloaded with classic rock, (thanks mom!) comics, and cartoons thanks to the curse of dial-up internet and AOL's constant running-man.

Exclusive Interview with Evil Iguana Production's Craig Deering & Allen Murphy
Awhile back, I wrote about the spoof of Suicide Squad created by the YouTube group Evil Iguana Productions, which is the brainchild of Allen Murphy and Craig Deering. While they are well known for their spoofs, they have also been hard at work on a webseries which is a take on the normal man trying to take down the bad guys called Vigilant. They took a little time out of their busy schedule to sit down and answer a few questions about their latest project and plans for the future.
