Cosplayer Spotlight: Joshua Meeks
It has been a month since I've done a cosplayer interview, but now, I'm back to do some more before I attend GlitchCon in almost a week. If you haven't checked out my last cosplayer interview, you can click on the link below. I recently got a chance to interview Joshua Meeks, via my cosplay page on Facebook. The reason why I interview cosplayers is because I want my followers and everyone on Vocal to get to know more about them. Other than that, I hope you enjoy my interview with Joshua.

Cosplayer Spotlight: Salina Curry
Interviewing almost two dozen cosplayers has been amazing. I got to know each and every one of them. To me, the cosplay community is one of many communities I'm proud to be part of. Whenever I go to a con, meeting people and enjoying the atmosphere are the two things I love the most about being a cosplayer. Being a cosplayer since 2014 has been a blessing. I've had my highs and lows, but managed to overcome so many obstacles, especially outside of cosplay. Not only that, but making lots of friends and having amazing con adventures in the process. I'll be attending cons outside of Arkansas, where I currently reside, in the future. That has always been one of my goals, so you'll be seeing more of me down the road.

Patrick Collins of Katonah Is an Actor with Character
In 1973, Patrick Collins’s Bronx background led him to teaching religion at John F. Kennedy High School in Somers. The Bronx upbringing also played a part in becoming a child actor in shows like The Guiding Light. His mother setting him on that course. But the fling with acting in elementary school didn’t have as much a say on his career path than the 13 plays he did as an undergrad at Villanova.

Taiwanese Actress in NYC Dreams of Performing on Broadway
Kui-Fang Tseng recently completed her first lead role of a musical in Theater Row. Playing a North Vietnamese soldier in War+Lovers, she welcomed the story arc that her character had to carry. “There’s a beginning, a middle and an end," said Tseng. "You must build up the drama so the character changes, and the audience can experience the story." On the other hand, she did not initially pursue acting as a college student, but once she did, it was a revelation.

Locals, Tourists in Nepal Star in Eye-Opening Short Film that Sheds Light on a Country Threatened by Tourism
Director Dekel Berenson’s latest short film, Ashmina, didn’t exactly happen overnight. For five years, he set out on an adventure to explore the far ends of the world such as the North Pole and Mount Everest. It was on that trip to Nepal, in 2014, that inspired his latest, thought-provoking film. While in the country’s second largest city, Pokhara, to finish his training as a paragliding pilot, he encountered several local children who left a lasting impression on the UK/Israeli-based filmmaker.

Cosplayer Spotlight: Wil Busbee
On social media, I get to interact with many cosplayers on either a regular or daily basis. Most of the time, I comment on how much I like their cosplays and seek advice from them. Before I headed off to GlitchCon, I got a chance to interview an amazing cosplayer named Wil Busbee. It was great knowing so much about him and why he's such a great individual.
