Collette Jackson-Fink is a keen enthusiast of literature. She has been writing short stories, poems, and screenplays since she was 13 years old, but it was only in 2013 that she decided to write and publish her first ever novel entitled Daughters of Twilight, a fantasy fiction book with a mix of action and science fiction. Its story revolves around the little city of Waterloo, Iowa where a mysterious ‘black tower’ suddenly appears after a magnitude 7.0 earthquake has hit. This black tower then creates curiosity and chaos inside and outside the city, which is even made worse by the appearance of an oddly beautiful creature who claims to have been casted down from the Garden of Eden.

Athena Kowari grew up as a happy child and knew only love and happiness that surrounded her, she knew the world could be cruel but never knew of the horror's it truly held, the pain and desperation that couldn't be seen by her innocent green eyes. She was loved dearly by her older brother, who resembled her father so much, his black spiky hair and dark brown eyes could lull any girl into a heated mess and that was before he had even smiled. Her father, a strong man that took care of his family in any way he could and provided not only the support to keep them financially going but the love they needed to feel like they could never break. Athena herself took after her mother, who was a wild card at heart but was studious and understood the need to protect and provide for her family. Her wavy brown hair and deep green eyes stole the breath of many who had seen her but she had her heart set on the man she now called her husband and with him she had brought into the world two beautiful and amazing children, who in return gave her the love she felt for them back to her.

Heinsight: Rewriting 'Scooby Doo'
Scooby Doo is arguably one of the longest standing and most iconic characters ever put to film. The adventures of the mystery gang started back in the 60's, and have endured to this day with the upcoming reboot, 'Scoob!' (exclamation mark necessary). But this is not the first feature length Scooby outing. After the direct to video movies from the early nineties, we were treated to two live action Scooby Doo films in the early 2000's, written by James Gunn of all people. A lot of people enjoy these movies, and I myself am among those people, but I will be the first to admit that they're far from perfect. Dated CGI, questionable costume choices, and a paper-thin plot make these incredibly dated by today's standards. So let's take a stab at rewriting the live action Scooby Doo film.

In what I write, which is fantasy set in current times. I like that the elderly neighbor who is nosey and wise, that just might be a witch. I like to imagine that pixies live in the garden complaining about car exhaust. I love when the fantasy dove tails with some aspects of what is going on in the “Real World”. Yet, there seems to be something a smidge off in most books.

I'm Ella Im 24 years old and this is my story on how I fell in love with a demon, Now I know what you're all thinking. How can she do this? is It even possible? Well I just want to start out by saying that this is not the weirdest thing that's happened to me. I've had my fair share of men, and good lord were they jerks. But this is different. it's way different, and yes I know he's a demon, let alone a dead guy. But something about him made me head over heels in love with him. could he have been possessing me sure,But somehow I don't see my mind as being taken over by him. The odd thing is i don't nor did I feel any danger from the moment I met him, I was starstruck. And jesus, I knew he was a demon but from the moment that I knew of it, It didn't bother me, not one bit not even now. even though I'm grown and he's like older then me by a lot. not going to do the math, I'm 24 BJ is legit a sugar daddy description if I'd ever seen one. But something made me follow him, more different then the crowd of bachelors that I could have picked, I picked Beetlejuice. was It that green hair? or was It how he presented himself to me? I had no idea how I fell for him, But I do know this that he is and always does make me happy. I’m now 28 I’ve been with Beetlejuice 13 years now I met him when i was 21.

Wakey By Tashara. Nct Johnny (fanfic)
Here I was stuck in the Starbucks line looking around to see if there were any more options for coffee. I mean I like Starbuck but at this point, I just care for my coffee now instead of later. I had one headphone out of my ear as I was listening to the new Monsta X play it cool looking at the line and my phone seeing the line was not going to budge. "oh my" I said under my breath grabbing my bag and things walking away leaving the line. I walk away upset, as I walk further I see a group of girls sounding like a mix between hyperventilation and screams as they "awe". I get closer walking passed and I can see that it is a group of boys, not any but looks like kpop boys. I want to see but try not to get to close so I can "play it cool". I see that a bunch are laughing at one who was trying to get comfortable in his chair. I realize that the group is NCT. I skim and realize that it is NCT 127 by the members as I continue to walk. My eyes skim and lock eyes with the one I know as Mark and I walk fast seeing there is another coffee shop and it happen to be around all the madness. I slide behind a girl to go to the coffee plays. "why they have to be right by where I have to go in front of business" I roll my eyes saying to myself. I then go inside and order my coffee as well as a cookie and pay then wait for it to be finished. "Y/N your coffee" I run up and get my coffee thanking her being it was faster than Starbucks.
