Should 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' Be Considered Canon?
The two-part stage play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, is headed to Times Square here in New York. I live a few blocks from the theater, but there is no way I'm gonna be able to get tickets for this show.

The Art of Streaming
The digital age has sure shaped how we view, listen and experience things today. Take Hulu and Netflix, for example, there is something about watching your shows or movies through a website vs. real time through your cable provider. I am a 26 year old who doesn't have cable and streams my shows, while my parents, on the other hand, have had cable for countless years and don't quite understand the direction millennials are taking things.

Why the Hallmark Channel's Popularity Is Growing Despite Cable Cutters
Hallmark Channel is well-known for its Countdown to Christmas and original family-friendly movies, but in October 2012, it debuted its first original series, a morning talk show called Home and Family, which was originally broadcast on The Family Channel. The series proved successful, with many Hallmark movie stars joining the hosts each morning to talk about their upcoming projects and to interact with excited audiences.

How I Learn My Scripts
Hi! I'm a training actress and I perform multiple different shows every year. The learning process changes from show to show, for example the process for learning a play is quite different from learning a musical. Today I will be covering my process for learning musical scripts but I will cover my process for plays in another post! In my theatre company, we do not use the word “memorize” because it implies that we only know the words on the paper with no real meaning behind it. Instead we are told to “learn” each line so every movement and phrase has a meaning. Currently I am performing in Little Shop Of Horrors the musical.

Things Theatre Has Taught Me
For those that know me and for those that don't, I spend more time in my local theatre than I do in my own home. At the age of three my mum introduced me to this beautiful, singsongy, colourful world and I have not left. Being a 19-year-old actor/director/writer/all around creative soul, I'm proud to say that my world revolves around the theatre. Consequently, each show and each soundtrack I listened to is a keepsake of a point in my life, whether it be a happy or sad moment or a moment filled with passion or anger. Although theatre isn't meant to be therapy, it is very therapeutic in the sense that it teaches you a multitude of fundamental life lessons.

'Grease 3: The Grease Awakens'
There's a trend in Hollywood: reduce, reuse, and recycle. There aren't all that many blockbusters that are irresistibly original like Lady Bird or Birdman, but in place of originality we have sequels and reboots that have turned out great, but flooded the market. Whether or not this should be happening is a completely different article. Rather: what should they make next?

All for Women and Women for All! 'The Tempest' at the Brockley Jack Theatre, London
The Brockley Jack Studio Theatre is a brilliant space above an enigmatic pub in Crofton Park, South London. With their ethos boasting 'celebrating creativity,' why wouldn't you like it? Their programme presents a diverse theatre mix throughout the year, and what would be more diverse than an all-female production of The Tempest by our well celebrated Mr. Shakespeare? But surely it wouldn’t work, as you’re meant to have men AND women? Wrong. With the consideration that before the Restoration era began in 1660 women were not even allowed on stage, as well as this being the 100 year anniversary of women actually gaining some form of vote, I believe this is a triumph for women in theatre.
