An Amazon in the Past
There are many people growing up, like myself, who saw Lord of the Rings by Peter Jackson in 2001. They were in enthralled on how wonderful and creative it was in its magic and set design; each architecture and piece was set to perfection, with even the music by Howard Shore. Yet, there exists in the making, a tv show that is set to rediscover that magic again: Amazons Lord of the Rings, but akin to the Simarillion (set thousands of years ago).

The Dilemma of Choice
There was this, once upon a time. Choosing a show on the tele was easy peasy. Sesame street was a bouncy breakfast staple for the kids and many grown ups devoured Dynasty for dessert. After all, the Ewings were a thrillingly naughty bunch lol. Oh and don't forget The Love Boat with a bit of sensual something for everyone. We had choices in days gone by, and we were content with the simplicity of a small smorgasbord of shows on offer. Tele brought our families together. There was no rewind. No fast forward. Your show was on NOW. You showed up for it. You were left on the edge of your seat until the following Monday night.

If not Highlander, then Outlander
If not the movie "Highlander", then the TV series "Outlander". I remember the first time that I had seen the movie "Highlander". It was in the mid 80's. This was during a time that a lot of science fiction and fantasy movies were coming out. Some of them were pretty impressive with the most up to date special effects at the time. Computer Generated images (CGI) was in its mere infancy so some of the special effects could be now labeled comical in comparison to today's special effects.

Cancelled Or Ongoing, These Titles Are Worth Your Time
People say that they want to watch new things. However, whether people care to admit it or not, they tend to make selections based on at least some degree of familiarity. First, I will list a few titles that I am sure many people love. Afterward, for each one, I will recommend a familiar title that perhaps may not have been on your radar.

"Harry Potter" Fan Theories: The Boy Who Lived or The Boy The World Forgot?
In the Harry Potter series, it should be evident that Harry is the subject of all significant events. Right? Was Harry destined to be the Boy Who Lived? Or did Voldemort inadvertently create his own nemesis? One Harry Potter fan theory with the most traction is that Professor Trelawney's prophecy applied to Harry and Neville Longbottom.

The Three Cs
Ask me about a perfect partner and I wouldn’t know how to respond. That answer is buried somewhere under a revolting quantity of more important questions, for example – what’s my favorite snack while gaming? Well, it has to be something that leaves me less inclined to leave a trail of fingerprints on my controller. Another character defining question, flight powers or ability to breathe under water? Come on, Mariana’s Trench has been such sleep-depriving mystery, why would I pass that up? Cthulhu is real, prove me wrong. And lastly, what makes a perfect show/film, worthy of recommendation? This right here is the question any self-respecting writer would cross their legs over, push their glasses to the bridge of their nose and remark, “you chose the red pill, huh.” This question is loaded. Six-chambers deep into analytical composites, compound understanding and complete and utter indulgence. Afterall, this is opinion. But thinking deeply keeps me from getting existential with other matters in life, so without further delay, let’s get to it.

If The Best Man, Then Friends from College
People love to make grand generalized statements about the higher learning experience. College is a conundrum. It is never internalized the same from generation to generation or from one student to the next. The Best Man and Friends from College are hilarious depictions of people who have met lifelong friends in college and those who should probably distance themselves from their college tribe. It would be easier if these groups of friends named themselves like the Flossy Posse in Girls Trip or the Goonies, or Divas like Will’s mother and aunts in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Alas, they do not, so you will see the word friend a lot.
